Q: How quickly does it work for calmness and/or heart rate/blood pressure?

Everyone is different of course and I think it has to do with how deficit you are and the cause of your heart rate/ high blood pressure. Magnesium works with the muscle and so taking it causes them to relax and in return causing calmness throughout the body. I always take prior to going to bed. Generally 500 mg is enough but I find that I feel better if I take 1000 mg every other night with the 500 between. You could see quick result with blood pressure of could take a week or so. There are so many things that can affect blood pressure, even not drink enough water. Your Omega 6 is also very important to maintain healthy blood pressure. A body is like a car engine. It has to stay oiled and lubricated with a good source of oils.
