Is this good with a turbo car, Will this oil work well with a 86 Buick turbo car with no catalytic converter

Just my opinion but with a turbo spinning 80k rpm I would be hesitant using 20w50. I would use a lighter weight like 10w40 or less. If you didn't have a turbo I would say it would be fine because you don't have a catalytic converter to foul up.

Castrol GTX Classic 20W-50 is a conventional four-stroke motor oil that can be used in applications calling for a 20W-50 motor oil with an API rating of SJ or prior as long as the application it is used in should not use motor oil with high zinc content. This formula should not be used in modern engines with catalytic converters or wet clutch applications.

Good product, good price.

I run this in my hot rod truck running a small block ford 347ci stroker motor. It sticks to parts like honey and keeps things well lubed. This is a quality motor oil that is meant for our hot rod motors especially for those running flat tappet cams it has the extra zinc needed. I am running a roller cam in this motor but I still run high zinc oil as it's recommended. Came quickly and you can't beat the price.

Great choice for older vehicles

High zinc oil is recommended for older vehicles with flat tappet valve lifters. Using in 97 jeep 4.0 engine. Runs quiet and smooth in S.C. summer heat. Do not add any other zinc additives when using this oil as too much is not advisable.
