This item is SO easy to use and put together, no tools necessary. This is my first and only weed eater but it does a great job. Is it the most powerful? No, not compared to the ones I’ve seen lawn care workers use. Does it do the job? Yes! It is light enough though like any weed eater it will fatigue your arms after a bit. The only downside I will say is it is a bit short even at its longest. Being 5’1 I still have to hunch over with it. Overall cheap but effective purchase and battery works great but I have a small yard

My MZK String Trimmer, 20V Cordless Electric 12'' Weed Eater with Replacement Spools (4 Pack), Battery Powered Lightweight Weed Grass Trimmer/Edger, 8000 RPM 12-in 5.1lb Battery and Charger Included came without the battery, charger and 4 extra spools. Turns out the batter and charger are one unit but I didn't know that. I contacted the seller Zaker Tools and told them what happened. I asked them if they could ship me a battery, charger and spools. They shipped me a whole unit and this one had everything included. I have to say their service couldn't have been any better. I just received the trimmer today and took it out and used it. I'm very pleased with how it worked. I used it for an hour and the battery still had 3 lights lit. The spool is a bit hard to get off but next time I take it off I'm going to spray it with silicon spray to see if that helps. I had a gas trimmer for years and this is a lot quieter and easier to use.

Battery life could be a little better. Has plenty of power to cut through my grass & weeds, small plant branches. The string's not bad either. It cut a few of the said branches, I've hit concrete a few times, hasn't broken yet. Used twice so far. Happy with purchase.

the wire cover part broke and cannot be replaced. now this product cannot be used. i see in the customer complaints that someone else had the same issue with this part and had a replacement part sent to them. if the warranty is too old I should be able to buy a replacement.

I bought the MZK 20V Cordless Weed Eater to weed my moms front & back yard. I only saw one review when I decided to buy this one. The buyer was pretty happy & I followed my gut after browsing on Amazon looking at many other Weed Eaters. Well when I received it I immediately took it out of the box & was surprised it is very light weight & easy assemble. I didn't even have to look at the manual of how to put it together. Then I charged battery for 4 hours & gave it a try the next day. I was ecstatic of how easy it was to use & to bump when I needed more cord. I've used weed eaters in the past & they were heavy & had a cord where I would have to use an extension cord in the house/garage & hope & pray the utility cord would be long enough - but not w/this Weed Eater. I just love it & it comes w/4 extra spools. Plus, the price wasn't bad either. So don't hesitate to buy - you will love it!

Update: Sad that the battery is unavailable now. Make it useless with no battery. Hoping they will get more in. Worked great till the battery shorted out. This makes cutting my small yard a fast and easy job. Cuts the grass easily and edges nicely with practice. I charge the battery after each use. Not sure how long the battery would last since I charge it. The cord lasts 2 cutting of my yard. Easy to change the sprocket and they give you extra ones. I plan to buy cord and refill them when I need to. So happy I bought it.

Awesome. Love it! Good power, long lasting battery! Rechargeable! Environmental friendly. Easy to use. Light weight. Very durable and well made. Very pleased as is my neighbor who keeps borrowing it lol.

It us lightweight, and works well. However, the spool cover is extremely difficult to remove and put back on. We have never had this problem with other grass trimmers. The instructions are not clear. Had to take off the shield to be able to have enough leverage to remove the cover. We read in the question section that others have the same problem
