Absolutely excellent book describing living a loving and giving life in all its aspects. This book connects the actions to the energy in our bodies, and the place where the energy lives. Different places in the body give different kinds of thinking. With different kinds of thinking, we do different actions. Thought provoking and especially good for a group book discussion

Lately I have been reading numerous books on energy healing systems. I just finished reading this interesting 269 page soft cover book (Invisible acts of power: Channeling grace in your everyday life by Caroline Myss) that I purchased on Amazon for a bargain price. The approach in this book is much more spiritual in nature than most of the other volumes I have read on this self-help topic. If you are interested in our seven major Chakra this book covers them in some depth. The eight chapters explore the following topics: gifts of self-esteem, gifts of the heart, gifts of choice, gifts of wisdom, gifts of the spirit and invisible facts of power. My favorite chapter is the last one where it lists seven facts of power emphasizes the many small things you can do to develop invisible acts of power. Even though I did not care for some of the more religious aspects of the book; nevertheless, most of the material was interesting and informative. It is a well-written book and if you are interested in being a better person and developing your personal power you should check out this book. esoteric Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. An uplifting and positive book full of proof of the goodness and wonderful complexity of the spiritual beings we are. Myss provides an amazing summary of the energy fields of the body and how they intermesh and interact with our emotional, mental and physical bodies. I recommend her sound principles and grasp of the non-physical part of us all for anyone who really wants to understand the workings of the energetic and spiritual parts of human beings.

I have been a fan of Carolyn Myss since her early days on PBS doing intuitive health readings and her first books -- especially Anatomy of a Spirit which I know helped me over that mid life bump. Invisible Acts will show you how you have received many invisible acts at just the right time and that your intuition telling you to reach out to someone are almost always right on when we are in our bodies and aware that we do feel enery from others. If you have ever wondered about the chakra system you may have heard about this book will give you everything you need to know and the desire to learn more. Be present in your life so you can be present and be of service to others in need, especially in these days! I highly recommend this book. It shares so much wisdom on service, kindness, and how the "smallest" act of kindness or help can have lifelong positive impact on others. I am sure you'll love it!!!

Used book in excellent condition!

I loved this book. It sang to my soul. I loved reading such inspiring stories that people told of their life experiences regarding acts of power experienced either for them or by them

This is a Gem. For the spiritually inclined this books can do wonders which even the scriptures might not be able to do. I think in today's time for most people it is much more beneficial for people to read this kind of book which can be much more inspiring, then after they have spent considerable amount of time which has purified them to a considerable extent they should take up the scriptures to study and not read then their real meaning shall sink in or be revealed. This books call out to the latent power hidden in you and you are inspired to just go out and do your part in the creation. I thank the writer for giving this book and the divine grace acting behind it. May many more benefit from this book as i have been. It will open up new perspectives for the ones who are well into the journey towards their source.

This is an excellent read. Caroline Myss is a truly brilliant teacher who offers metaphysical insight and practical suggestions about how we each can appreciate and channel grace in everyday life. She offers clear illustrations by grounding what can be a very nebulous topic. I found reading this book very reassuring and a healing experience in itself. Thank you Caroline. I highly recommend her and this book.

Myss has a special talent. Very inspiring.
