I had to complete a project for our HOA requiring me to compute the square footage inside our HOA building, which is about 5,000 sq feet. The issue was the master and one of the sub-association cost centers are both using parts of the building and they did not have measurements of the rooms to compute the allocation. I tested the accuracy of the instrument with a tape measure and a laser measure and it was fine. This instrument was great for measuring long distances as long as the wheel could go past the start and finish of the distance. If the distance starts or ends up against a wall, the laser measuring instrument is better for that. Project was completed.

Don’t waste your money or time. Used less than 2 days and the reset stopped working. Thankfully I kept my old Keson in the truck measuring fences or I would have been screwed. Bought 2 of these because of the reviews and price, they both crapped out and neither reset. It would take a cold day in hell before I will buy from this company again.

Very nicely packaged to fold up and has its own cary bag. The hand brake makes it very accurate to stop at a given point. Very happy with the purchase.

So..I'll start with saying that when it worked, it was great. Measured accurately within an inch every time. The problems started 3 months in. The reset button at the top started not working all the time. Required multiple presses, and it got progressively worse. The gear inside started missing after resets sometimes, causing a whirring sound, reset didn't change to all zeros, and would cause scrolling issues, or not work at all. 4 months in, it was becoming more of a battle. Yesterday when pulling the trigger for the brake, something popped inside and now it doesn't work. (The cord inside snapped) The reset button is now useless, and I have to use the manual reset at the bottom of the clicker. When folding it up I can see the cord for the reset inside is kinked and bent, and I'm imaging it's not far behind going the same route as the brake cable. It will still be useable, just a huge inconvenience and not acceptable considering I paid $25 extra for those two exact features. Is it worth the $65 I paid? Not really considering it only lasted 5 months, and all it got used for was measuring several yards a week. It wasn't banged around, or used roughly. Just simply measured the outlines of yards. That leave a lot to be desired on durability. Personally, I'm going to blame the AZ heat, as it seems to ruin EVERYTHING. Maybe this would last longer in the cooler months. It seems this is the only measure wheel at this price point on Amazon, so I'll look elsewhere, but it seems like options are limited. The storage bag with shoulder straps is a nice touch.

Super easy to roll and can maneuver over average residential bumpy terrain (grass, gravel, dirt, under shrubbery) while still tracking distance. Very accurate measurements, down to the inch. Handbrake holds the wheel steady while using other hand to record measurements. Love having the reset on the grip. Lightweight and easy to store and also sturdy. Kickstand drops and releases with ease. Comes with tidy backpack-style carrying case, which means easy to stack with other tools in truck or on work shelf. A+

I bought this one on JAN 2025 and like a month or so the handle reset button on top of the handle is not working properly. When pressed the measuring display does not reset to 00000 it goes to random numbers + the wheel starts to make a grinding noise. The only way to bypass this situation is to press the reset button at the bottom of the wheel, which is frustrating when outside with hands full and trying to get work done. I tried to see if I could fix it but the way is built is not meant to take it apart, it would easily break all together.
