Does the job
Seems to be working well and makes changing the filter easier since I can stop the water flow without having to disconnect or plug the drain tube.

Good valve - easy to open and close.
Valve works good so far. Above ground pool did not include a shutoff valve where the two water intake hoses come out of the pool and join going in to the strainer basket of the filter. There was no way to clean the basket without water rushing out. Installed this balance and now itโs a simple matter to close this valve and the corresponding valve on the outflow and then open the basket without losing a lot of water.

An absolute must have!
Easy to install massive time saver! We got this for our pool this summer and itโa so much more convenient to not have to disconnect hoses and in plugs. This has made cleaning out the filters take less than five minutes when it used to take at least 15 and no mess or water loss. Itโs also put way less wear and tear on the hoses since they donโt have to be disconnected/connected anymore. Absolute must for above ground pool owners!

Perfect Part
This is exactly what I needed for my pool. Now I can service my pump and sand filter very easily with out loosing a lot of water. It arrived quickly and I had installed in minutes. It fit perfectly ๐.

Boil water and put hose to pump the end for bottom of valve into boiling water
I was in process of returning item as I could not get it to go in hose to the pump, as same size , so I boiled water and put the hoe into pot of boiling water then the valve went in no problem. Should add in instructions maybe

Not threaded right
Worst part ever. Itโs not threaded right so no connectors fit it. Too late to return so stuck with a piece of garbage.
