Haven't had a chance to test as of yet.
Haven't been able to use it yet as its part of a greater shop renovation project will have to update when I can, but I mean its a magnet that turns on and off. I just hope it has the holding power it claims.

Very strong when used as intended
Very strong magnet when you use it as it's designed to be used. No, you won't get 160 pounds out if it on sheet metal. Not even thick sheet metal. Mount it to 1/4 or 1/2 inch and you will see a huge difference. Note though that this is fur pull strength. If you slide it, it's a very different story. Go to the companies website, read and UNDERSTAND the spec sheet on these things.

Works good
Works great considering the price. When you turn the knob one direction it's not super smooth but works good other than that. Magnet strength feels as strong as more expensive models.

Good quality stronghold
Good strong magnets must have for metal work and layout. These are fairly strong for their size release easily with the switch wood purchase again. I purchased two and I'm glad I did for layout.

I have zero use for it and I love it
I purchased this after seeing similar ones used in videos. I can easily pick up 25lb plates with this at a flick of a switch. This to me is 100% a toy and I have zero practical use for it. However, it has still given me and my friends plenty of enjoyment. This little thing is seriously powerful so be careful though

weak magnet, closer to 6 pound pull than 176
Don't know if mine was defective, or of none of them are as described. I've owned this type of magnet before, i know how they work. This one switched off fine, but when switched on could be easily pulled off of any metal surface.

10/10
Strong for the size, works well with solid metals and impressed with how much this costs. This company had bigger magnets, so look through the sizes if need be.

might meet rating under perfect conditions.
Magnets are tricky. To get the high ratings it requires perfect conditions. surface mass and condition. and pull direction is key. This one say is 130 lbs. And say it meets that pulling strait up not at an angle. But tip it to the side then up it might only rate 20 lbs of less. And that's actually the real world.
