Very convenient and easy to use in an emergency. Very strong and sturdy. Highly recommended for tall bldgs, homes or 2+ story apts.

I bought these fire escape ladders to have on hand in case of a fire or other emergency. Thankfully, I have not had to use them, and I hope I never do. From looking them over, they appear sturdy, strong, and well made. The steel construction feels durable, and having an escape option available for a second-story room gives me extra peace of mind. This is one of those purchases you make hoping you never need it, but I feel better knowing it is there if an emergency ever happens. I would recommend it for anyone looking to add another layer of safety to their home.

This review is only covering the arrival and inspection of the quality of the merchandise. This ladder appears to be well made. The components seem to be uniformly attached and none seem to be showing lack of attention in their production. Of course, the actual use in its intended function is, thankfully, not available. This price is quite market sensible and the delivery had no issues. It is rated at 350lbs, so it could actually have two children use it at once if necessary. It is not complicated, but family practice would certainly help in a real fire.

These look like they will be very effective. It was a gigantic pain to get them prepped for use, as you have to remove them from the box and reassemble in a certain way before they are ready to be deployed. The instructions failed in one particular way. Advice: get some painters tape to hold the bottom together while you stack the top.

Seems to be of high quality, hope we never need to use to find out, but better to have and not worry than to have an emergency and no way out, small price to pay for piece of mind. Seems sturdy and simple to use, a bit heavy of course, but you should expect that with metal rungs

This ladder seems very sturdy and strongly built. Unfortunately, I returned it because it is quite heavy and I didn't feel my granddaughter could deploy it. It also needs a certain width window and wouldn't fit properly in ours. Otherwise, it seems high quality.

Seems fine! Hopefully will never have to use

I live in a very remote area and have a full basement so two thirds of my house are about 10 ft up of the ground. We needed something sturdy, simple, and reliable to use in case of a fire. This is it. It is super easy to use, really sturdy, light enough for my 13 yr old niece to install, and long enough to get out of the second story window ( which is about 15 ft of the ground). I feel much safer having this in my house.

Compact for easy storage and to be close at hand when needed. Simple to operate - the hook designs anticipate a variety of balcony configurations - including a slightly strange one we have - a brick wall that was increased in height by the addition of a railing - this product is able to be fitted between the railing and the brick due to the flexible link between the hooks - if this link was more rigid it wouldn't work so well for us. The simple velcro release to deploy the ladder looks like it will work well. CONS: instructions warn about deploying because repacking is tricky - therefore, we can't get a really good look at how it will work until we actually use it.

This is a very well built escape ladder. I’d recommend it to anyone. Hopefully I don’t ever have to use it.
