I absolutely love the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Glossy Nourishing Hair Oil! It gives my hair a beautiful, glossy shine without feeling greasy or heavy. The tropical scent is incredible — it makes my hair smell amazing all day. What really impressed me is how well it fights frizz. Even on humid days, my hair stays smooth, soft, and manageable. A few drops on damp or dry hair is all it takes, and it layers beautifully under other styling products if needed. I like it. I use it often. I don’t know if it’s worth the price, because i’m sure there are cheaper and better options available for heat protection. It smells great, but it doesn’t last and others can’t smell it unless you use it with other SDJ products. I wont repurchase, but I’m satisfied with it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Just the best oil around! The smell, the texture, the consistency, divine! I love it. My daughter loves it. My mom loves it. We are addicted! It is pricey, but I guess this is a 'get what you pay for' product. Long-lasting smell and hydration. It doesn't leave the skin tight and dehydrated. An overall great product.

Not made for fine hair. Smells great, easy tonuse but not for me. I have straight, fine hair. Thos will work best for thick hair or curly hair. Not a bad buy, just not for me.

I am not sure if this ever worked but it does smell good. Don’t think that it is effective as a heat protectant chemically speaking even with dimethicone because the concentration isn’t high enough to protect hair without it becoming very very oily

Amazing smell, very good quality, is gets your hair very moisturized and soft and looks amazing, not stick at all, and the moisturizer level is high quality

Smells very good but made my hair so so so so so greasy. My daughter who has very long hair uses it on the last couple inches of her hair while it’s wet. I can’t use it at all and even she can’t use it on dry hair

This is the best hair oil of all time I have repurchased this like 4x. One bottle lasts me like 8 months and nothing makes my frizzy curly hair look shinier and healthier. Plus it smells delicious

With Afro-Latina hair, my battle with frizz, particularly the frizz halo, has been a constant in my life. This product finally helped me win this battle! Not much of the product is needed to banish the frizz but maintain the curls (other products have given me an overall flat look). It smells good, it’s long lasting, even on humid days and is yet another fabulous addition to this range. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
