Loved the vintage look of this nifty compact Vornado Vfan Mini back in 2022 when I bought it. It has been idle more than a year, but today I re-discovered its efficient design and effectiveness: what a great buy!!!!!! The blades and interior were dusty with the accumulation of fluff & stuff that I need to avoid because of severe allergic reactions to airborne triggers. My mini Vfan needed a cleaning… read some forums and finally found the manual online. Huzzah! and I read, then carefully followed directions to remove front grill and fan blade assembly. Verdict: easy peasy if you’re at all handy and all horse crazy kids get very handy and learn to use tools… but really easy, all things considered. One flat head screwdriver to release three tabs of the front grill — and replace grill when you’re finished - no screws at all. Entire plastic fan assembly pulls off. A brief but enlightening learning curve, mostly dry paper towel to remove the fuzzies and Shazam! Very easy to accomplish with the manual… Now for those out there who simply refuse to read directions or get familiar with a gadget or appliance: NOTE: This fan has two speeds: gentle and brisk. Both are quiet. The Vfan Mini is efficient and best suited to use on nightstand or desk or chest of drawers. It works best in a normal room - for high-ceilinged large rooms,invest in a bigger Vornado. You don’t use a kiddy car when tou need a bigger vehicle so don’t expect this wonderfully constructed and designed mini fan to produce the blast of a big Vornado. Just please start reading the directions - there’s a review that says the speed isn’t strong enough — because the goober-brain didn’t bother to read manual and get familiar with the controls. Two speeds, folks, gentle and brisk… Stay cool!

I'm in love with this fan in terms of both form and function. Aesthetically, it's just so chic. The color is beautiful and has such mid-century charm. This is a very small model, but delivers a steady, pleasant breeze. Our aircon has been broken for six weeks, and this, in combination with another, larger Tornado model -- the mini on my bedside table, aimed toward my face, and the larger on the dresser, aimed toward my body -- have kept me completely comfortable on 85-90 degree nights. It performs quietly, and I find the white noise totally welcome.

Great value! I'm always hesitant when fans get too reasonably priced, but I'd pay a lot more for this one. It's very cute. Takes up very little space. Stays exactly where you put it--no traveling. I was so impressed with it I went back and bought 2 more! (Kitchen and bath) It's very quiet. My cats aren't bothered by it. It is all metal so there's no rattling. And, it has some weight to it. So, it's sturdy. Definitely thinking of getting a few more. The color is not a green green. Depending on the light, sometimes it looks colonial blue.

Compact size but puts out a good stream of air. Have mine on the side of the bathroom vanity. The vintage style goes great with other Vornados (same style but larger) that I have. Colour is a creamy white. Great product.

Obviously, this fan is aesthetically pleasing, which is a big bonus, but I also got it because I was so tired of having fans that quit after a year’s use, and were glued together so you couldn’t attempt to fix any problems. I’m also sick of plastic things, so the metal construction was a perk too. This thing is very small, but it’s a chunk! Very nice weight to it. It gets docked a star for sound. In fact, I almost returned it because I was afraid I just couldn’t take it. The fan noise part is fine, but it has a whine to the motor that is at a register I just found really annoying. I have sensory issues, so I’m probably more picky about this than a lot of people. I wouldn’t say it’s really quiet, but overall I like my fans to have a bit of noise, since I need some white noise to sleep. Anyway, I’ve gotten used to it over time. It occasionally does get a rattle, hazards of a metal fan, but mostly it’s good. I also can’t believe how much air it moves for such a small fan! I had a fan this size before, and you had to be about a foot from it before you felt any air coming out. This won’t give you the air power of a bigger fan of course, but it really moves the air, and has kept me cool at night. Overall it’s a great fan. Wish it didn’t have the whine to the motor, but that’s really my only complaint. I will likely be buying a larger one from this company eventually since it seems so well made.

This fan is as cute as it is efficient. Lots of metal to help keep it in place. Two speeds. Do you really need more? Some reviewers noted its noise. Sorry, I never met this type of fan that didn’t make some. That grey collar behind the main fan? I think that’s called an aspirator by guys smarter than me and probably wasn’t on the original design of this fan a century ago. I think it's called an aspirator. It “collects air” to help the fan be more efficient. Remember it’s advertised as a personal fan. Don’t expect it to ventilate a room of any size. Need more air? Get the Jr instead. One review mentioned fuzz accumulating on it. Sorry, ANY device that moves air through it will collect the “stuff” in the airstream. Just like your furnace and air conditioner, you’ll need to maintain it. Some reviewers noted the fan “died after several years of hard use”. I’ve owned numerous Vornados in 20 years. Some died prematurely. Vornado’s 5-year warranty has replaced mine when they died within that period. Rest assured. They’ll help you, too.

This fan is perfect for small spaces. It has separate power levels so you can set it to the temp u like. It is a little pricey, but seems good quality.

This is my second time buying this fan! My first one (more of a light tan, pearl color) lasted about 3 years. It is chic, petite & works well! I do wish that it came with a few different level setting as sometimes the first setting feels a bit too much but I would still buy it again. * also note, you have to clean it out about once a month. I left the fuzz in the photo for you to see that it will collect dust & such from your room. Overall 4/5 stars!

I was away for a chunk of summer and when I returned realised the plug was US, not UK. When I plugged it in with an adapter it worked for 2 minutes then stopped as the voltage was too high and it broke. Now I have a broken fan and no way to return. Do not buy if you're based in the UK

So these are the pro's and con's: Pro's: -This is a beautiful little fan especially if you love military green that shines like a car. - Nothing metallic about it but honestly I don't think it matters because it's a genuinely good looking fan. Something out of a movie? - It's heavier than it looks which makes it feel solid. It's heavy enough to feel like a pro point is what I'm trying to say. - this will provide enough cooling potential for one person, not an entire room like the other vornado's - perfect for the personal occasion - be it study time, work or those nights when your wife kicks you out of bed during summers and you have to crash on the couch. Cons: - speed 1 is quiet as heck. So quiet that the first time I switched it to speed 1 I dint even realize it was on. Speed one feels like a casual breeze. Speed 2 however sounds like the smallest jet engine or an efficient hair dryer. Something you have to get used to. It doesn't bother me but some people do get bothered by it. It's understandable. All in all - would I recommend it? Ofcourse! Just look at it! Who wouldnt want that? I've even put it up next to the Trident gum box so you get an estimate of how large this is.

El ventilador es tal cual aparece en las imágenes. Tiene ese diseño clásico que me recuerda mucho a los ventiladores que veía antes en Mixup, y desde hace tiempo quería uno así. Se siente bien construido y con buenos materiales. Funciona muy bien: trae dos velocidades y ambas tienen buena potencia, suficiente para refrescar una habitación pequeña o un escritorio sin problema. Además, el estilo retro lo hace ver muy bien como parte de la decoración. En general, estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. Combina diseño, funcionalidad y buena calidad.

Caution 120 volts so not usable in the UK or Europe. A very compact and we'll designed fan.

Had to return 2 of these now. The first worked for around 15 minutes before dying and the second one didn't work at all. Yes they look nice but a lack of reliability lets these down badly.
