Q: Can this be used on epoxy resin jewelry? i read somewhere that it is only for polyester resin.

I've never tried it on jewelry but I have done it on tile with resin and wood too.I would get glossy in the spray so it does'nt give your work a matte finish.

Never used it on anything for outdoor. When sprayed it gives a thin coating so I doubt its good for outdoors. Was dissappointed that it does not give a nice shine as the expoy resin does.

Q: Will this clear coat and bring the luster back to a epoxy resin bar top that has been sanded?

I have only made a few resin pendants. A few had mistakes that required sanding. I had better luck bringing back the luster with Rust-Oleum 2 X Ultra Cover Clear Gloss than with this Resin Spray. I tried both.

Q: It says "fast drying" but doesn't actually give a specific time. How long does it take to cure?

A thin coat will dry in a minute or two. A thick coat takes a while. It’s especially fast in heat as in a few seconds. If you’re unsure try a thin coat and wait 10 minutes to check it. I usually do this when it’s about 110 F out. So it dries extremely quickly. It’s good for touch ups and stays tacky for long enough for me to put a dusting on without it sticking to the brush.
