Very good quality tape. I was skeptical on how well it would hold, but it hasn't come loose after weeks of use. It matches our black interior of our Subaru Outback nicely when the "so called" leather interior started cracking. Sorry Subaru but it isn't leather!

The color is a near perfect match. My puppy chewed a hole in my sofa arm, and I’ve only had the sofa 3 weeks 😭 It’s used, but new to me So, after some positive product reviews and watching a few videos on how to apply the vinyl, my 14 year old son did the smoothing while I peeled the paper. This is a two person task. The results are above and beyond my expectations. My puppy is forgiven. My sofa looks great. Definitely recommend this product 😊

Honest review of ONine Leather Repair Patch, Leather Repair Tape, 12 x 48 Inches Self-Adhesive Couch Patch, Waterproof, Wear-Resistant, for Furniture, Drivers Seat, Sofas, Car Seats (Gray) @ $20.98 at time of review. I ordered this for a silver/gray 2002 Ford Taurus SEL that had a badly ripped driver’s seat when I acquired it. The seats/interior is the faux leather. The door panels had also suffered some defacing. This seemed to have some of the best and most reviews, so I opted to try it. I ordered what looked to be the closest they had to the color I needed. I was mistaken color wise and probably should’ve looked elsewhere. The seat was first duct taped, but that didn’t seem protective enough, plus that tape sometimes becomes sticky. I opted to put this leather repair patch over the duct tape. I ended up putting seat cover bottoms over the front seats because of how poorly the color and grain match was. It’s an old car, but I still want it to look as nice as it can. Likes: Amazon Prime shipping, refunds and returns. Reasonably priced. Seems to adhere well, sometimes too well, as in when it accidentally gets stuck to itself for example. It’s a new application but is staying in place thus far. Dislikes: The paper backing that is peeled off is ultra-thin. It tears very easily while trying to remove it. When the roll curls back up and you’re not expecting it, it often tears the paper backing. I had instances (not many) where the paper could not be completely removed in some small areas. I was not even able to use my fingernail and scrape it off. Zero instructions, even prep instructions. I just assumed by common sense and watching one of the videos that the area intended for application should be cleansed first. The grain/color did not match at all (but I realized it was a shot in the dark to begin with). But, it matched so poorly that I ended up buying seat cushion covers. Meh: Some measuring guidelines on the reverse side (of this thin paper backing) would have been nice. The paper has a coating on it and is very difficult to mark on. Hopefully this honest review helps someone decide about this product.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this repair tape. The adhesion (so far; it’s only been 2 weeks) is good IF you first clean off your surface (mine is leather) with isopropyl alcohol as stated in the instructions. Otherwise the ends will curl up and the repair tape will start to come off.

This matched my couch almost perfectly and was super super easy to apply. I cleaned the areas with a little acetone and cut the patches very quickly and with no regard to exact size so I got the result I earned. If you put a little actual effort into matching seam to seam, it would be a nearly invisible fix. I suggest getting a bigger size than needed and covering seam to seam even for smaller holes. It is STICKY. If you can have a second person help with laying the patches very quickly flat to get an exact cut, it would help. Go slow removing the backing, it is easy to tear and that slows things down quite a bit. I was patching a loveseat used primarily by my dogs, so I’m not unhappy with my work but if I redo it I’ll use much bigger patches and just match up to the seams.

4 stars because I can't match it up. Otherwise, it has held on to the leather chair I have with no problems, my hubby is in the chair more hours than not, so it does take a beating and stays attached. It is smooth textured and the seal seems to really stick, A decent value for the money, I have a bit left over, and I am not sure what I am going to do with it, yet, but I will put in in my tool box for something else, that might come up
