This is great stuff! Used this to reseal my headlights after retrofitting projectors. Very easy to stretch by hand to lay in the channels. Once lens is back on, I put them in the oven for 7 min @275F and the butyl tape sealed nicely. I had to reopen them and they came undone easily. Just needed to use a knife to cut the strings; this stuff gets really stringy and can get on your lens. I made a mess at first but it cleans off easily w isopropyl alcohol. Don’t over-do it. I live in Phx and it’s been 105-115F and some extra butyl tape that gushed out is sticking on the body panel (that’s my fault, not the product). I’m Very happy overall

Hands down the best stuff for your retrofit project. Throw it in the oven for about 3 minutes at 150-200 degrees to make it a little more workable when trying to get it into the channels on your housing. Reheat everything again for another 3-5 minutes and use a flathead or screendoor roller to push it into the channel flush and evenly. I will add if you reheat this stuff again to redo a retrofit or take apart your housing again for whatever reason it gets extremely stringy, more so than most oem butyls, so be mindful of this so none of it sticks to the lens or any of your headlight internals or you could have a small disaster cleaning that off! Other than that it’s great and one roll has lasted me two retrofits with full sized headlights (Genesis Coupe) and two fog lights (also Genesis Coupe) and I still have a lot left!

Morimmoto RetroRubber is the product to get when you want the work done well. I recommend it.

I want to tell you just buy it. The rubber seal is very strong and easy to deal with it and become flexible after heating up by heat gun unlike others brand which takes long time to stretch it. After 3 years it's still usable as first day.

Una shulada, para el que no lo sepa usar aun, conforme lo van colocando en el canal que tiene el faro, lo van estirando poquito asi entra mas al fondo y se centra, lo calientan hasta que este bien blando cuidando el plastico, y queda machin de fabrica
