The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + Hyaluronic Acid 2%, Gentle Exfoliating Serum for Smoother Skin

This was another skincare product that was recommended to me, and it's been a great addition to my routine. I wanted something gentle to exfoliate my skin without making it feel dry or irritated, and this has worked really well. My skin feels smoother, looks brighter, and I haven't had any issues with sensitivity. I only use it a couple nights a week, and a little goes a long way. For the price, it's hard to beat!

I love this! My naturally dry skin was really bad after I had my last baby. It had dry patches all over my face. I was really nervous about using something new and I've never tried a chemical exfoliant but I heard good reviews about it. Adding this to my skincare routine has made my face look better than it has in years! It even lightened up some old acne scars a little.

I have bad skin that's dry and lots of acne. I would sometimes get flaky skin on my nose in the winter I always use salicylic acid every day but it only helps my acne and isn't too effective for exfoliating i thought lactic acid would help get rid of the flakes. It did work well with the flakes but it made my acne worse so I stopped using it. A few weeks ago I decided I would see if it did anything to my ingrown hairs. It works very well as a gentle exfoliator down there I use it the day before I shave and have noticed a significant reduction of ingrowns! Yay! Glad I found a use for it.

This stuff has made a difference in the feel (texture) & appearance (more even tone, lighter dark spots) of my face. I have to say I'm a bit surprised because the first time I used it I thought "Wow this stuff is just like water!" It is the consistency of water, not like most serums and it doesn't have much of a smell plus there is no tingling or burning of any kind. So it actually does feel like you're putting water on your face. I evenade a point to save the box because I thought for sure I'd be sending this stuff back. But I used it for about a week and my face definitely felt smoother and softer, then today after another of twice daily use I noticed while looking in the mirror that my skin tone is much more even and my dark spots have faded a bit. I was surprised, this is the only thing I have changed in my skin care routine so this has to be it. I definitely recommend you give it a try, it's definitely a great deal.**UPDATE: I just changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I have used this for 2 months now , I just ordered more. It might last longer for some because I do use it before moisturizer both morning and night(the directions do say once a day tho.) I'm not sure if I mentioned in the first part of my review but I literally cannot count the number of AHA peels and serums that I have tried over several years. This one is refered to as a peel but you do not actually have to take it off once applied. So my update is because this is the BEST AHA formula that I have ever used and what's also great about it is that it is also the most AFFORDABLE one it completely transforms the texture of your face making it incredibly smooth. When I bought it I really didn't expect it to be so great at this price point. I can't say how much I highly recommend this!!!

I have mature skin (in my 60's) and have started experimenting with some of the Ordinary acids. I'm using this gently on the south side of my eye bags where I have discoloration and what I think might be the beginning of milia, noticing spots but they are not raised yet. I've been using this daily for about 3 weeks and the milia spots have given way to cleaner brighter skin and the discoloration of the circles around my bags have faded. I opted for the milder 5% lactic acid as I have sensitive skin, but also that I would be applying it gingerly under my eyes (disclaimer--check with your dermatologist or PCP first!). I have bags and the contouring dark circle underneath gives me enough room to stay aways from the eyelids and more sensitive areas. I also apply with a q-tip to better control any liquid that wants to run.

Excellent product. Very gentle to your skin. Been using about 2 years and I love it!
