1020 Micro Case (Red/Clear)

Pelican still makes good cases. And they were even kind enough to put usable inside dimensions in the description so that I could choose the right size on the first try.

Solid case. Does a great job housing my in ears and other supplies. Well built.

I used this to make a waterproof case for a behind the bumper radar detector. This case works. Keeps the moisture out and cradles the detector in such a way that absorbs any bumps and shocks to it. Radar and Laser detectors work right through the clear plastic. Very good quality. I did drill one hole through it to run wires and sealed it up with epoxy. Works great!

I bought this to use as a small travel humidor when I'm only bringing a few cigars. It's small enough to pack away easily, but holds what I need it to and still allows for a small humidity pack. These cases could be used to store a variety of things.

The Pelican Micro Series boxes are nothing short of perfect. I have many of them in various sizes with both black with a clear lid and yellow with a clear lid. Anything that you'd want to protect from getting crushed or wet, then these are what you need. All of the Pelican Micro Series are made of some sort of super-strong plastic. I'm pretty sure you can run them over with your car and they wouldn't break. They are also completely waterproof with a very tight seal when snapped closed. They come with the black carabiner, but I don't care for them so I take them off. They also have a small pressure valve on the front to equalize the pressure. The colored rubber insert is also removable if you'd prefer to have just a clear box. Pelican boxes of all sorts are very popular with our military so that should tell you how incredibly strong and just plain great they are.

Perfect size for a wallet, keys, and other small items. It will not fit a Droid Maxx2. It worked as expected and kept everything dry while kayaking and boating. But, a couple of small things to consider if you get this box. The carabineer spring broke day 4 so you may want to buy a better one or use a rope lanyard. The latches seem secure but because it would be bouncing around I added a rubberband to make sure it would stay closed. It probably would have been fine, but that's cheap insurance.

I had been looking for something to hold SD cards for my camera for a while but all the options seemed really poor made or didn't hold a lot. So I decided to make my own using this case and the foam set sold separately. Works great so now there protected and weather proof!! As for the case its made of a hard plastic with a rubber insert which gives it color. The rubber is removable but the down side is it will not seal at all if it is not there. I only mention it because I removed the rubber to put the foam set in it which fit fine but didn't seal. So you need to kind of cram the foam in with the rubber insert to make it work. Seems to seal nicely and all the hinges seem well made to last years, they also hold there position real well. Also comes with a carabiner attached which is a nice feature for me making it easier to pull from a bag. Overall id recommend this or any of the various sizes they come in. If you need water and crush proof this is the way to go, and it doesn't break the bank either!!! Positives+ Well made See through Negatives- Rubber removable but makes it usless

With the addition of 2 heavy duty magnets, I could put it on my motorcycle tank. Waterproof, so able to put my GPS in it. Perfect.

I have a few of these for media cards / rushes. I already have the 1040 in the colour shown in the image but the “Blue” is not the same colour. Can’t really be bothered to return it as I need it for work but it’s kinda annoying.

Compré este estuche para guardar un disco duro Western Digital Elements de 2TB, el tamaño es perfecto y queda espacio para guardar el cable o algún accesorio extra, por la altura me parece que podría guardar hasta dos discos duros del mismo grosor o un Lacie rugged mini sin problemas. El día que llegó el producto lo recibió el conserje de mi edificio y al antregármelo se le cayó y rodó por las escaleras, él muy apenado me pidió disculpas pero realmente me hizo un favor al poner a prueba la calidad y durabilidad del producto que no tuvo ni un rayón. Calidad Pelican 100%.
