I just throw the visor in the washing machine. It cleans up nicely.

Is this good for running?

Not just because I don't run, but even if I did I wouldn't have been able to test it out with this hat/visor. The very first time I put it on the place for it to attach (velcro) pulled completely off, rendering the hat useless.
