What does it mean when the controller is flashing bars ?

Thank you for your support of PHYMAT Far Infrared Heating Pad. When the controller flashes it means that the temperature inside the heating pad has reached the temperature you set and remains at that temperature.

How can I get a cover for 23"x16" mat?

Personally I just use a blanket or mattress pad cover on mine. Even a sheet will work. I do not have mine set so high as to sweat like to detox. If that is your plan I would use a waterproof twin mattress pad cover you can pull off and wash.

How long is the cord?

Hi Jack, there are two cords that connect to the main control. One cord that plugs into the wall is 42" apprx. The other cord from the controller plugs into the bed and is about 24". Short cords, I used an extension to plug into the wall. hope this helps.
