I have started using Cardio Omega 3 Fish Oil with Vitamin D3 now as an alternative to the normal Omega 3 capsuals and I am very pleased with it. The capsules are easy to swallow and, most importantly, there is no fishy aftertaste at all. That is often a problem with fish oil supplements, but this one has been very clean and pleasant to take. I like that the oil comes from Norwegian salmon and includes EPA, DHA, and DPA along with astaxanthin. It feels like a well balanced formula rather than a basic fish oil product. The added Vitamin D3 is also a welcome bonus, especially during the colder months when sunlight is limited. The capsules seem good quality and the bottle provides a good supply, which offers good value. Since starting the supplement I feel confident that I am supporting my heart health and general wellbeing. Overall, this is a high quality omega-3 supplement with a thoughtful formula and no unpleasant taste. I have jus happily purchased it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable fish oil and Vitamin D3 supplement.

I thought I’d leave a review to help others who like understanding what they’re putting inside their body, as I do. I have been taking this product for the last year and I’m so glad I’ve found it on Amazon now – definitely one for automatic reorder! I take two 1000mg capsules each day (small and easy to swallow with water.) I find it beneficial for my arthritis and general wellbeing. My skin has also improved, it’s less dry and clearer than it ever used to be. I searched for months for a non-chemically extracted fish oil made from one fish. I read the articles online about large companies inserting rancid (rotten yellow) fish oils into capsules, and thoroughly researched our bodily needs for omega 3 6 9. I was drawn to this product as salmon is renowned for being the most balanced and nutritious fish available, Hofseth BioCare have managed to extract their oil without chemicals or extreme heat, which helps retain more of the natural benefits of the fish. In fact, there are seven times more fatty acids within this supplement than most others. The reason we are advised to take omega 3 fish oil is because most people in the world do not eat enough fish, so we replace the fatty acids with omega supplements. There is no point in consuming excessive amounts of just DHA or EPA – instead, consume what your body needs, in a balanced way. The 21 omegas within these softgels are better than the three you get from others. Excellent product no after taste

Seems to work fine but the only two issues I have is that the outside of the capsule seems to stick to tablet container sometimes (especially in hot weather) and there is a very noticeable fishy smell in the container.

No fishy aftertaste. Easy to swallow capsule. Reasonable price . I haven’t yet noticed any major differences but I am taking this to benefit my heart and joints and skin as I get older.

I bought these omega 3 6 9 capsules as purchasing the salmon or cod two or three times a week for a balanced diet can be expensive. I was really interested to find out that all the omega fatty acids are retained within the capsules as there are no chemicals used during extraction. This was exactly what I needed. Previously I was using cod liver oil capsules, which gave me horrific reflux. I’m glad to say I haven’t experience this with these salmon oil capsules. I take two each morning, after breakfast and with water, and so do my kids. Being 1000mg they are smaller than the 2000mg capsules, which makes it easier to convince my 11-year-old to take! After the first 2 weeks of taking them, I already feel an improvement. I’ve also noticed that I’m able to concentrate better at work – looking at a screen all day can be strenuous, and I feel healthier. My 11-year-old also says he’s finding it easier to focus whilst at school, also. To summarise: The product is great, and it works. A good product for those looking for un-chemically treated products which give you the benefits of eating a balanced diet without the cost and without force feeding ha ha!

Easy to take fish oil, good quality and delivered quickly. Research led me to this product; I was looking for DHA, EPA and DPA at the balanced levels my body required, not a competition for the largest numbers. This product has a wide spectrum of 21 omegas, derived from one of the healthiest fish on the plant: salmon. I wanted to avoid crude oil which has been cold pressed and then chemically treated, as many articles mention they can do much more harm, than good. High strength omega 3 should mean well balanced, I’m glad this product stays true to source. This product is exactly what it says on the tin.

This is genuinely a lovely supplement. They should take the words “high strength”out of their packaging. No burping, no weird taste, and I did feel a difference in my eyes …But as much as I like it, the omega-3 levels are a bit low for what I personally need. I’m looking for something with a higher EPA/DHA dose because I’m working on hair growth and hormones. Still a really good product — just wish it was a bit stronger! In order to get more of the recommended allowance, I’m taking four of these in the morning and four in the evening three days hopefully I’m not looking for a magic pill but we prefer something stronger that I only need to take once or twice a day
