If they advertise no alcohol, etc, why is "alcohol" listed on ingredients on the back of the box??

Alcohol, as defined by FDA’s cosmetic labeling, is specifically ethanol alcohol. Our product does not contain ethanol alcohol. It does contain ingredients that belong to the family of chemicals that falls under alcohol, which do not have the same drying effect of ethanol alcohol.

Does this work on dark hair too?

Following the chart on the packaging, the Simply Color 8.16 Medium Ash Blonde is for natural light to dark blonde hair. This will not work on hair that is darker than a dark blonde.

Does this leave hair greasy? When I used Garnier it left my hair greasy

Bought it because of other reviews saying it didn’t cause itching for sensitive scalps. It did. Plus color washed out quickly. Would not buy brand again

Does not cover white roots

This is not permanent hair color. I left it on for almost one hour and only colored my ends.

Excellent grey coverage and was the perfect color.

My hair was already blondish to begin with so that maybe why I didn’t have the lightening issue that others had. But the color came out beautifully and covered by grey completely. Very gentle and easy to use.
