Improved design! Works fine.
I've owned dozens of these from Limo Studio, but they all had defects. The threaded sockets came out! I'm a photo instructor, so I need at least 15 working models. This is an improved design. I'm giving this one a road test and it's holding up well. I like the dual design because it will accommodate a big 105 watt CFL and a small LED spot. That's a very nice key light effect for bare bulb portraits.

One Side Doesn’t Work
It was great but one side stopped working after a couple weeks for some reason.

Sockets and mount cannot be individually tightened
Both sockets and the flash head are held in position by the thumb screws on the ends. If you loosen one or both to make an adjustment, everything becomes loose at once. This is mechanically very iffy for supporting an umbrella and any but the most lightweight bulbs. Safest thing is to adjust aiming to the closest you can guess before mounting an umbrella and heavy CFL bulbs.

If you handle it carefully, it might last for 10 years.
I aim it out my front window to light up my walkway at night. Use it with LED bulbs.

Inaccurate Description
The product description showed 2 lamps with 1 flash holder In the center (total 3 But when I received the product it came with one lamp holder and flash holder (total 2). I am not sure if they stock the item displayed.

Completely useless! It is not sturdy at all.

Buscaba una opción práctica para iluminar. Resultaron ser altamente útiles y estoy muy contento. El material se ve bien, tal vez un foco pesado podría ser poco adecuado pero cumple su función. Trae apagadores independientes, al igual que se pueden mover los focos de manera independiente. Si bien el cable no es para nada largo, resulta ordinario su calidad y longitud. Volveré a comprar otro par sin duda.
