Great Product, we switched from Friskey's catfood
Great Product, we switched from Friskey's catfood, as vet recommended this product. our cats like gravy so it worked well and they REALLY like it, eat every last bit. Also one cat that was getting a bit big from the Friskey's food, as lost weight, which is amazing. Ok it might be more expensive, but it is a good product, cats like the taste and it is healthy for them.

This cat food is great, your cats behavior will definitely change from a health perspective. You will start to see a difference within two months. There is to much cat food out there with the wrong ingredients these days. Yes this is more money but you are better off paying now, than paying later at the vets office. Remember you are what you eat, the same applies to your pets. Great products, just a question of finding the right flavor for your finicky cat.

Good for picky eaters with CRF/kidney issues
I have two elderly cats, both with CRF and thus needing a low phosphorus food. I've tried everything under the sun, even the fancy expensive stuff, and this is the first one both of them will constantly eat. To keep their interest I'll occasionally mix in a tablespoon or so of PetCo's Soulistic Aqua Grill canned food in with it. It's a little higher in phosphorus (still under %1 though) and it's mostly a bunch of fishy gravy along with big chunks of real fish. They love it.

Stars based exclusively on the cat's review.
I'm the oldest cat, Sugar Puss, and I speak for all six of us when I say this canned product is "OK". But perhaps not a full five star winner, because whenever Daddy opens up one of these cans, we (and I think I can honestly say there is not a fussy one among us) usually leave about 1/4 of the can uneaten. That is even when he gives it to us in the mornings, when we have not had anything to eat for 8 to 10 hours (and sometimes longer, if our lazybones Daddy feels like sleeping in for the day.) There are other 5 oz. cans we don't like as much, so it isn't just the size, although there may be something to that. If I had my druthers, I would prefer two 3 oz. cans to one five oz. can any time, unless the 3 oz. was a puree. We do not like purees. Daddy will continue getting this, because most of us are still teenagers or even sub-teen (less than 6 months, or even less than 4 months, like little Gatsby). Maybe when the little guys grow up, they will have bigger appetites.

Spoiled brcats
My cats love the dry food version of this food but the wet venison got a "no tail flick for this. Try again, staff" review. However, I know how difficult it is to please furry reviewers so im giving you a high 5 for a good try and speedy delivery. The food is being donated to foster cat moms and dads since it's clear mine forgot where they came from. Hmmph. We will stick with the dry food reorders. Thanks!

Came with too many damaged cans
Hills is great animal food. It literally kept my 19 year old dog alive for much of the later half of her life. It was all she could eat without getting a severe pancreas attack. The hairball formula has totally eliminated the problem my oldest cat had. Don't bother ordering from Amazon, though. Get them at your local pet store. The case came with so many damaged, dented cans I ended up throwing almost half of it away. That's overlooking the minor dents, these cans were bashed. It wasn't from shipping, either, they were well packed in big pillow packs. It was packed that way from the warehouse. It's not worth the hassle of sending it back, but it's pretty frustrating to throw away so much expensive cat food. Never again from Amazon. I thought the convenience would be good but it's not.

my cats wake me up EARLY every morning for this stuff... i suppose it must be good or something
Let's be clear.... my CATS love it, not me. I personally haven't tasted it, so I can't speak to just how delicious (or disgusting) it may be. But considering that my cats wake me up EARLY every morning to be given a fresh can of ocean fish dinner, I think it's safe to say that it's "good". I've enclosed a photo of one of the cute jerks that wakes me up every morning so he can be given his Science Diet. ;-)

Suspect ingredient
Good brand of food but I read on the list of ingredients that it contains carrageenan, which is a carcinogen for humans so it must be for cats too. My cat is on a prescription diet food now and no longer eating this food

Make sure this food is good for your cat
I bough this food thinking its more healthy food for my cats. I did buy another taste of Hills Science before as my veterinary recommended and it was ok. But this particular was a total disappointment. First of all, it looks more like cheap Friscas, smells not like food at all. I bought chicken taste and tuna taste - what a surprise, the color, texture and smell are ABSOLUTELY THE SAME. Cats were not exited but ate the first day. On the day two they started to vomit and they got diarrhea. I got a lot of cleaning , including carpets. I decided to return it. Surprise again. ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE!!! As a result, I have stucked with 40 cans of not edible cats food

good food, bashed up package, damaged cans
This is good quality cat food, no problems there. But this is the first time a package has arrived so badly damaged. Two cans had to be thrown out because there's no way of knowing how long ago they were split open. I can't return it because I'd flattened the box before I realized the problem, and besides, the cat food was squished all over. There was bubble plastic to buffer the cans, but just not enough, I guess. It's a shame because this is expensive food!
