Works well provided the WiFi signal isn't too strong.
There were some initial WiFi connectivity problems for a while with the module used in quite close proximity to a router with a very strong 2.4G WiFi signal. The connection would drop every few days, requiring an inconvenient on-site reset. However, this problem went away after a module firmware upgrade and after reducing the router's WiFi signal strength a bit, and since then the WiFi connection has been stable, and the module has now worked correctly for several months with no further resets.

Smart addition to your Rain Bird irrigation system
Best thing ever! Awesome addition to my irrigation system. I read through many negative reviews and have decided that they must have been reviewing a different product than the LNK2 that I received. It was uper easy to install, connect to Wi-Fi, set up and start using. Took literally all of ~10 minutes, if that. Programming my irrigation system from the app is much easier than from the controller box. The app took a little time to figure out, but now that I have, it's very straight forward. I really like being able to monitor and control my irrigation system remotely from the comfort of my couch, or while on vacation in another state.
