I had been raking the pond scum and algae off the top of my pond for many years. When I lost a 14-15 pound Koi because it could no longer breathe, I was done. I started using this product in the fall of last year and seen very little if any help at all. Then in March of this year I started using it again. The results are truly unbelievable. This product is well worth the money. I have not lost any more of my fish and the pond is beautiful for the 1st time since I have lived here. Like I said I restarted using this product in March and by July the pond was and is so clean that the deer and other wildlife drink from it and I actually would swim in it if I had the urge to do so. Couldn’t get my koi pond to clear up. Found this stuff and within 3 days it started clearing. Now I can see my fish and fish and enjoy my pond. Great product; safe for the fish and plants too!

I have a 1/4 farm acre pond in central PA. The water is murky brown from April through October every year and not totally clear ever (not including when frozen over, of course). I have duckweed and cat o nine tails growing around the perimeter, plenty of good vegetation. I was excited to try this fish safe eco remedy. This comes in a kit with 2 parts. In the box, there is a wallet sized burlap bag full of powder that the instructions direct you to throw in the center of the pond. The second part is a one gallon jug full of some really foul smelling liquid with instructions to "evenly pour it around the perimeter of the pond", a little ambiguous. Not knowing what the liquid's chemical makeup was, for the first application, I poured the liquid around the pond perimeter on the grassy edge, not in the water but, within 6" of the water. I was thinking the liquid relied on gravity and rainwater to dilute the liquid properly. Result noting, murky brown water. After waiting 3 weeks for a good result and not seeing one, I contacted the manufacturer and asked about pouring the liquid on the perimeter. They quickly replied it was okay to pour the liquid directly in the water near the perimeter, ooops, my mistake. So I ordered the product again. I threw the new pouch into the center of the pond and poured the smelly liquid around the perimeter, directly into the water and prayed my catfish would be spared death. After a week waiting for the second "proper" application, I'm sorry to say this product did not do anything for my pond clarity. It's as if I did nothing at all. Good news is, the catfish are still alive.

We have a quarter acre pond with aeration but we still have pond scum. We used this product and I swear the next day it’s already looking better. Great product!

The ad says it can treat a 14 acre pond with one gallon , but the instructions says you will need 8 gallons per month .. that means it would cost me over $1000 dollars a month , lolOne gallon can hardly do 0.25 acres to be affective..
