The advertised product description covers a range of wheel sizes, brake and gearing options. This review is for the 26" single speed coaster brake Lakona Shore Cruiser model. The measured frame height is 31", bike is sized for 64-74" rider height. The bike weighs 37 pounds assembled, tires are 26"-2.125". There's a 60 page safety/assembly/maintenance and adjustment booklet in the carton. All fastners are metric, a set of metric allen wrenches, 6 point metric sockets and thin profile metric open-end wrenchs will dramatically ease assembly. Pliers, adjustable wrench and screwdriver assembly may be possible but you will be frustrated with the extra time required and damage you will cause, and you will still need a metric allen wrench to install and adjust the handle bars. Some complained that fasteners on components were too tight presenting difficulty in loosening, assembling and re-adjusting. Not so IF you use the correct tools. Wheel & crank bearings, steering tube bearings and chain tension were all correct and do not need adjustment during assembly. Wheel runout and roundness are acceptable for an inexpensive bike like this one. The seat is a little tricky to get right and needs to be tight, again the correct metric 6-point socket wrench makes this task easier. Pedals install best with thin profile metric open-end wrench. As for sturdiness, it's a heavy old school bike like I rode to country school in the 1950's. Good for a few miles a day at the beach. Can't predict how it will hold up, the plastic seat appears to me to be a potential weak link in the system. I feel it was a good value for the $ based on what I was looking for in a beach bike. Bike was very well packaged, some hard plastic, cardboard and paper packing materials and the carton are recycable, some foam cushioning is not, at least not here in NY State. There are numerous zip ties involved and a small wire cutter/side cutter speeds the unpacking and saves the finish on the bike. I opted for free shipping and was pleasantly surprised when the bike arrived one day earlier than the date specified with Prime shipping.

I bought this bike for my city commute to work, and boy, what a mistake. I was riding in traffic when the seat literally started coming off. Thankfully I wasn't hurt but honestly, this product isn't even safe, let alone functional. Don't be fooled by how pretty it is, the quality is nonexistent!! First of all, the instructions it came with were for a different bike altogether, and it didn't even come with all the proper tools to assemble it. If I could give it 0/5 I would - I can't believe this is allowed to be sold.

The package arrived promptly and assembly went OK until I tried to rotate the handlebars into position. The recessed hex nut that serves as a "binder bolt" is frozen and will not turn in either direction. I used the proper 6mm allen wrench and even added a breaker bar and penetrating fluid but the hex nut will not budge. A possible cause is that powder coating was sprayed onto the hex nut after it was installed, which coated the threads. I can't ride the bike because the handlebar grips are out of reach. I've tried emails and numerous phone calls to customer service at Pacific Cycle but no luck. Now I'm stuck with a bike that I can't ride.

Itll do the trick. Assembly was not too hard but took a bit of time, quality is just ok, the seat continues to slip down no matter how much I tighten the closure, but overall the bike looks nice and it'll be good for casual bike rides on flat ground. As with any cruiser though, good luck on hills, or get ready for a leg workout! Just happy I was able to find a bike during the pandemic when everything is sold out. If you're looking for a super high quality bike though, you're going to have to spend a bit more money - this really is a case of you get what you pay for! I say, it's good enough!

I absolutely love this bike! The seat is HUGE and I experience no discomfort riding though I’m an inexperienced rider! I can’t speak to assembly as I hired someone to assemble for me. It’s super cute and I receive compliments on it every time I ride it! It’s a smooth ride. I do wish there were gears for going uphill but for the cost? No complaints! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
