Phone Camera Lens Kit 12x Optical Zoom Universal Smartphone Telephoto Telescope Lens with Tripod Sliver (12x Lens + Tripod)

Bought for our trip to see the total eclipse. It was a little difficult to get attached to the phone, and then we ended up not using it for the eclipse - but I'll keep it as it will be fun to use in other situations.

This product is pretty nice the tripod is decent the quality is fairly good the metal is durable enough but weak enough two where you can tweak it if you need to.. and I like that I can interchange tripods.. however it is not a zoom. it doesn't have zoom.. I don't know why these vendors keep saying that their products has zoom.. phone's has Zoom.. not this product.. this product has Focus *ONLY* but still very nice!...

Horrible. Doesn't work at all after multiple attempts to set it up and use it.

You'll need to modify this for the Nexus 6P, as there is no way to set it up without the clamp being over the side buttons. That said, once modified the lens worked pretty good! I was able to modify it with a filter so I could get shots of the eclipse. Now that I'm not using the lens, the tripod is great for when I'm filming stuff for youtube or whatnot. So, 4 stars for doing what it was supposed to, even though I had to tweak it to make it fit my phone.

There is no way to get the lens close to the camera lens without removing the phone case. Without shims or adjusting rings, it wobbles on a tripod. Other than that, it works as advertised.

Pain to use and set, tripod never worked. Zoom really sucks.

I loved this zooming lens, easy to install on my android, I was able to capture the eclipse images on my phone. Super thrilled with this product.

The phone holder part was problematic to install as it was hard to find a place on my iPhone 6s where it didn't interfere with some function button. I also had to fool around with the lens to get it to work with the camera, ending up with installing it in a non-standard way. Once properly set up, I found that the lens had less distortion than I was prepared for as well as good magnification. I don't plan to use the little tripod that came with it so can't speak to that.
