Really like the grip that this sleeve gives the apple pencil. The feeling is like that of a Pentel's Twist Erase mechanical pencil which is my favorite pencil. Smooth yet grippy. The magnetic strip prevents the pencil from rolling and provides just enough of an edge/bump that makes holding the pencil in any position very comfortable. Magnets are very strong and I have no problem leaving my pencil on my ipad screen when I'm using it (mostly towards the long edges), but it also works very well with Apple's smart keyboard cover because I can just leave my apple pencil stuck on the outside when I don't want to slide it into the elastic sleeve on the back of my case. When I leave it stuck on my case magnetically it can survive quite the shake and not fall off. I probably wouldn't count on always leaving it attached to the case and not losing it, but as a grad student it works well for constant use and carrying my ipad around in my backpack.

Got this because the 10th gen iPad’s camera location changed how Apple designed the magnet layout. This means no magnetic pencil holding built into your device. This little sleeve is great, highly magnetic, and comes with 2 adhesive magnets. This things works well enough that I haven’t used the magnets, but they have a nice sleek design if you choose to use them. This grip is made of soft silicone and really comfy to use. It does not interfere with using your pencil, and is a nice little upgrade in itself.

I purchased this because I was hoping for something to soften up my grip on the Apple Pencil. When I write for long periods of time, my fingers tend to get sore from the pressure of holding the pencil. In this regard, the sleeve does help. I notice less pain when I write. I was hoping it would be a little softer. It's pretty dense and does not really squish, but it does help. That being said, the material feels very "solid" and not cheap at all. What really surprised me was how much I love the magnet feature. It's incredibly convenient for me to be able to stick the pencil on the side of my iPad, and it just sticks there! I think the magnet strength is perfect; it's not crazy strong but just enough to keep it attached even if you turn the device upside down. One thing to note - the magnet does create a ridge-like bulge on the side of the sleeve, so it's not a uniform cylinder shape. Writing with this bulge, it felt a little strange to me at first, although now I am used to it. All things considered, I would definitely buy this product again. Just be aware it's not a squishy-soft grip like some of the ones you find on pens these days.

You have an Apple Pencil. You've probably already protected the nib and put an attachment on that prevents the cap from being lost. Now how do you prevent the Pencil itself from being lost? Easy, this magnetic sleeve. This is a tight fitting silicone sleeve that comes in a variety of colors. Embedded in the silicone are seven tiny magnets. This will cause it to conveniently stick to the "right side" of an iPad (with the selfie camera on top position). This is the natural position to stick it directly on your iPad and seems done intentionally by design. Should you have your iPad in a case, you are also provided two magnetic strips to stick on things you want your Apple Pencil to stick to. You could put a magnetic strip on the right spine of a case, or the side of your computer, or wherever you want. If the object is magnetic, you don't need the strip at all. It's great to have these strips included. No, the silicone isn't completely round. The magnets protrude out to a thin flat end, but this doesn't affect holding it. You'll get used to holding it with the flat side away from your fingers. This design also helps prevent your Pencil from rolling off the table. I think this is a wonderful and handy product. While it's nice to have an Apple Pencil displayed without accessories, I'd rather protect it to maintain it for a higher resale value in the future. Recommended.

The Pencil sleeve arrives well packaged, with all the contents securely stowed, and all the listed parts accounted for. The sleeve looks very nice. The shape is somewhat like a teardrop, which fits nicely in the hand for holding. The material is a comfortable silicone-like material that is true to the Apple Pencil color, feels good to the hand, very smooth, and providing a slight cushioning to the grip. The magnetic attraction between the iPad and the grip is sufficient to hold fast under use around the Home or Office. It is possible that the Pencil could be dislodged with a passing blow, and so I would not use it as a primary means by which to store the pencil when out and about. This Pencil sleeve is best seen as a Pencil grip, with a means of laying down the Pencil such that it doesn’t roll away, or for light transport about the Home or Office, where, if it becomes dislodged, you have a somewhat reasonable chance at finding it. The sleeve is something you will be comfortable with leaving on the Pencil, even if you are storing the Pencil by a different means, for transport. An overall good choice and excellent value. Just don’t assume you can trust it to secure the Pencil to the tablet under all conditions.

First thing I noticed right out of the package was that it was not as muted as the picture, more of a light lavender. At first, I really liked this sleeve. The magnetic feature is great and extremely useful to keep the pencil in place. I originally bought this because my hand gets tired when I'm taking notes for school and this was causing me a lot of pain in my fingers. After using this for awhile, it's okay but the ridge caused by the magnet is awkward to grip and has not helped my pain much. Overall, it's great if I wasn't using it for extended periods of time but wouldn't be my go to if you are having hand pain

--- Updated Jun 2017 ---- FRTMA shipped me a replacement unit. I've been using it for a few months. I can confirm that the plastic did not tear like the previous version did - I'll chalk that up to a defective unit the first time around. The sleeve works well. Over time, it gets looser but continues to be tighter than the moxiware. Summary: This is the best magnetic sleeve I've found. However, in general magnetic sleeves are not reliable to carry the pencil safely in places where there are objects/people you can collide with. the pencil _will_ fall off. If however, you want a minimalistic magnetic sleeve, this seems to be the best bet. --- Old review --- I bought both the moxiware pencil and this product. Compared to Moxiware, this product is far better. Simply put, the moxiware product is thinner, but slides out of the phone in a week! I've been using the FRTMA for approximately a month and while it does get looser, it doesn't slide off the pencil (unless you manually pull it away). I've been pretty impressed except that a week ago, I noticed the rubber protection cracked along the lines and one of the magnets slipped out and fell off! I've attached a picture. I'd have rated this a 5 otherwise, but this is a pretty serious issue.

You won't loose your pencil because this accessory has magnet which connects to flip cover/ipad 2018. I really love it.

Works great, came with two stickers that adhere very well and strong magnets. The holder for the pencil actually makes it more comfortable to hold and it can attach to the front magnetic part of the keyboard cover too (although that’s not as strong an attachment as with the sticker it’s still really useful). Exactly what I was looking for to have the pencil close by and easily transported with my iPad!

Ottimo accessorio che si adatta bene alla apple pen! Esteticamente può non esser il massimo, lo riconosco, ma al livello pratico è eccezionale. Non da fastidio quando si scrive e permette di attaccare la penna all' iPad o alla sua custodia così da non perderla in giro. E' comodo tenere la penna così durante il giorno o spostamenti brevi ed inoltre la penna non rotola via se la si poggia sul tavolo. Per me è un si!

El producto viene perfectamente embalado y llego correctamente. El que yo he comprado es de color blanco y creo que ahora me estoy arrepintiendo del color porque veo que se va a poner negro. Es como una silicona blanca que recoge todo el polvo. Veremos como va. Por su utilidad, va perfecto. Se pega a la funda del iPad pro como una lapa. Va fenomenal. Además, el accesorio te ayuda a escribir porque te permite apoyar los dedos sobre la superficie de silicona, lo cual va fenomenal. El accesorio para pegarlo al mac no lo he utilizado porque la verdad es que se pega tanto, que cuando lo quitas, se lleva consigo el accesorio. Quizás no lo pegue bien. Una lastima, aunque no lo veo del todo necesario. Lo volvería a comprar sin duda, eso si, posiblemente de otro color.
