Is this comparable to a kd diet?

my cat has been on it for the past 4 months and has no adverse problems where we had to go back to the vet. So I would say yes.

The food does not look especially “wet” in the photos. Is it?

It is wet. Also, you can add a little water and mix it up.

It says 1 oz per lb of weight daily, but divided into two or more meals seems conflicting. What do you do for your cat, 1 can per meal replacement?

I also use a dry cat food with Pro Plan Urinary Wet Cat Food. I use 1 can per day. The wet food has a better PH balance factor for her urine.. My cat weights 16-18 lbs. Use your best judgment or call the company; they will answer your questions.
