Great product
We recently came across old family videos recorded on VHS, that we thought we had long lost. After much inquiring, we found a friend who had an old VCR in his basement, willing to lend us. We immediately ordered this to ensure that the old machine was cleaned and wouldn't gobble up our old tapes while we viewed them. Happy to report that it worked perfectly for our needs and was an inexpensive purchase that allowed us to relive priceless memories!

It only takes 30 secs to clean
I bought this in hopes that it would clear up the audio issues as well as the lines in the tape. While it did helps some with the lines, I still had issues with the sound on some of my tapes so I thought, maybe the tapes were making the drum dirty again so I have used it several times. I noticed only a minimal amount of good to the picture. Thats been my experience but you may have a better one. Depends on the equipment you have and how old your tapes are. As far as the cleaning process of this tape, its easy to use, just pop it in the machine, press play and it works its cleaning job for 30 seconds, then it stops and rewinds on its own. Nothing to it. 🙂

Great value for an item that is not available at Walmart. They say it's too old school.

Did not work
This wouldn't play. The VCR powered off as soon as the cleaning tape was inserted. I returned and received a second one and it did the exact same thing.

Easy to use
I like the usage record on the top of the tape so I can keep track of how often I've used the cleaner. I have a VCR to DVR tape machine that had been in storage for a couple of years and finally decided to put my tapes on DVR discs. The tape appeared to be well past is ability to provide me with a quality picture from being ignored. I used the video head cleaning tape and saw an improvement in the picture quality and so ran the head cleaner a second time with improved results again.

It was easy to use. I liked that it didn’t have a liquid. It made it easier than ones I’ve used in the past. Did the job and would purchase again.
