There is no assembly, it comes fully assembled. My only issue is that it arrived covered in soot that I had to clean off. I think the soot was from the paint? The baskets do not slide in and out very easily but I guess that is better than them being too loose. I use this to hold candles and wax melt supplies in the top 2 baskets. Cocktail napkins in the middle basket and then in the bottom baskets I have my internet boxes tucked in so they are out of the way. This is a very sturdy piece. It is probably not solid wood, but it suits what I need just fine and like I said, it is very sturdy and well made for the price. I am very happy with it. It is very cute too!

Loved this wicker wood storage with drawers so much, I bought another unit! Super functional, gives me just the right amount of storage, and comes pre-assembled, so there is no hassle. Looks great in the room and really sturdy. Definitely recommend!

These storage towers are nice but there's one thing I don't care for. The bottom of the hole that the drawers go in is open which causes the wicker to break off when I pull the drawer out and push it back in. This causes the broken wicker to fall off, into the drawer beneath it and it makes a mess. I'm trying to find a thin piece of wood to place on the bottom of the opening to prevent this from happening but the manufacturer should design it like that so this doesn't happen because other than that, they are really nice. I lift the basket up while i pull it out and push it in but it still makes a mess.

Sturdy and assembled already, this storage tower is handy for so many things. I use it for organizing my art supplies. It takes up very litle room and looks neat.

What I liked best was that it was already assembled. As some other reviewers noted, the baskets don't slide in and out all that easily because the bottoms of the baskets are so rough. But, as was also suggested by other reviewers, I cut strips of felt and attached one strip on each side of the baskets bottoms using some hot melt glue. Now they slide in and out easily. We actually bought this because we purchased a new power reclining sofa that had to be positioned some distance from the wall to allow for the reclining without hitting the wall. Because of the way our room is shaped this left a visible space in back of the sofa with all of the cords showing. Rather unattractive. Now we have some additional storage and this tower was exactly the right height to hide the space.

The wicker of which the draws are made is very loose and flaky, and as you open and close the drawers (i.e. use the product at all) , the drawers rub against the wood frame and you will get lots and lots of wicker dust and flakes all over what's in the drawers, and the floor. The drawers to begin with are very uneven, and the wicker in places was icky and rotten. Do not buy.

This fits perfectly in my laundry room! I am using this to neatly store my various cleaning supplies; since I don't have cabinets. I leave the door open to my laundry room, so all one sees is this attractive piece of furniture. It's perfect for what I needed it for!

Loved the look of this and it fit perfectly where I needed extra storage. Basket drawer were listed as hand made I believe and they look really nice but are shedding pieces each time the drawer is opened, which causes particles to fall into whatever drawer is beneath and I need to vacuum around it whenever it’s used. Maybe some kind of coating could be applied to drawer to prevent this but I haven’t tried anything yet. Looks good but just too “messy” to be functional
