Strength and comfort.
Very good product. Well constructed and sturdy. Supports my 300 lbs. and feels very sold to sit on using it in the shower. No wiggle or wobble. Would recommend buying this product.

Feels secure and is durable.
I've tried a few different benches but always come back to this one. It does eventually wear out, as in the seat may crack at the seams and water collects inside the seat. I've had them last as long as 8 years.

Would be 5 Stars But Alas After 8 Weeks It Split Open.
I bought this in August. Now it is October and the seam around the plastic seat has split open. It was rated for a weight much higher than mine. Unfortunately since it is past the return date I am stuck with a broken stool. If it were not for this I would have rated it a 4 or 5 star item. The seat is comfortable. The legs are very strong and stable. It was easy to put together. And it is easy to clean. BUT, if they break this quick, well, all the rest doesn't matter..

Nice bench, major pain to assemble!
I received my bench in time & in good condition. I started to assemble it, & the first part was fairly easy. However, when you start the stabilizer bars assembly, get ready for a struggle. First try, the bars wouldn't fit at all. I flipped them, like I had read in another post & it was a fight to squeeze the legs together enough to get the screws in. It took me almost two hours to assemble! Granted, I am not as strong as I used to be. Bone cancer has zapped much of my strength. I loved the bench when I used it for my shower. Very comfortable & fit nicely in my shower. I deducted one star for the horrible time I had trying to assemble this bench. I, unlike a lot of people, did not receive any kind of discount. Wish I was on Amazon's list to try out products for free! Oh, one thing, the instructions were very easy to understand. I saw some reviews that said instructions were not clear or even included. Maybe the company changed that. They were in a nice booklet, attached to the seat. Overall it is a very nice bench.

Nice sturdy seat
I purchased this product to be used outdoors. I was needing something that was light weight and sturdy when placed on a lawn. I sufferd a knee injury and I have difficultly getting up from a seated position. I use this bath bench for gardening. I am easily able to move it around the yard and tend to my plants. If the bench gets dirty-- I rinse it off with the water hose. Assembly is required and takes 10-15 minutes. This bench is also used for an ottoman. When my knee pain starts I sit in a regular chair and place my leg on top of it. The bench is adjustable for this purpose.

Sturdy Shower Bench!
I am pleased with this Drive Bariatric Shower Bench! I was a little worried about assembling it based on the reviews, but I didn't have any problems. (I am a 76 year old woman.) The only slight issue I had was that one of the screws was supposed to be longer than the others. All the screws I received were the same, the count was accurate. So I used all of them. Everything came out good. This bench is sturdier than the bench without the reinforcement brackets. It is worth the extra money for that security!

leg adjustments faulty and legs collapse without notice
The legs adjust and are held in place with cheap thin plastic U ring holding a small metal peg. The 2nd time using this chair in the shower, the leg collapsed while sitting on it with one of the rings and pegs falling out. Needs better and safer way to maintain leg length. Had to apply hose clamps on each leg peg to ensure no collapsing and causing injury. Why a bariatric chair made well with exception of leg stability I don't understand. We have never had an issue with regular shower chair and max weight using in 270#

Sturdy bench!
This was purchased to replace a shower chair that collapsed in use. My husband is a big man, 5’11” and 280lbs. This shower stool holds his weight easily even though is has a small footprint. The legs adjust easily and it can be made tall enough so he is comfortable getting up and down on it. It drains well so it can dry between showers.
