Bought this so I could use my wired headphones and also charge my phone. I typically only need this feature when traveling. This item works exactly as expected. Its simple to use and needed no adjustment on my phone and no reading instructions or anything. I just plugged it in and it worked.

Great value. None of the problems I've had with other adapters such as launching gemini when it's plugged in, turning the volume ALL THE WAY UP when you hit the pause button and it always works the first time. It doesn't require multiple plug ins to get it to work.

This dongle works great. And I can charge my phone whilst listening to the headphones. Hopefully it lasts.

This thing has an AMAZING DAC, so the sound quality is phenomenal. However, using this with certain earbuds results in malfunctions where my phone volume gets forced to 0 despite me not pressing anything. This only happened with a pair of Sony earbuds. They would work for 2 minutes, then my phone would mute like someone was pushing the volume button down. It hasn’t happened with any other earbuds or headphones. The USB-C connection is snug on almost all devices I’ve tried to output sound from, and they all detect this adapter. Charging isn’t so fast, but it’s reasonably fast enough. I like how easy this is to use, just plug and play. It’s almost a fully sound product.

In all fairness I need to update this review. Shortly after I wrote this the company gave me my money back and another dongle to use. It’s the last hour of 3.4.2026 and the dongle died today - just by plugging it in like I’ve done every other day in the last 6 weeks. Now, the dongle made it through the subzero luxury month of February we had (-20 to -30°F). We got up well into the 40’s today. And crack - I heard the electrical sizzle on all my speakers. So, no, this dongle is not worth the time or energy. Sorry, company but you’re peddling garbage. At least I’m honest in front of all these cool cats about my old car (with a big engine). (Original review) I have an iPhone 16 and an older car that only has an auxiliary port. This dongle worked great for a week or two. Then I went to plug my phone in one day, there was a loud buzzing noise and then nothing worked. I worked on it for a long time and got sound to come out of my car speaker for about 1 second and the dongle has been dead since. It was a long dongle which was nice so the cords didn’t have to go all the way up the dash to the phone holder. I guess you get what you pay for.

The first one I received was the blue box style on the right in the picture. This not only felt cheap but it did not work. I returned it so I didn't crack it open but I suspect that it is empty inside. It didn't pass power or audio. Was replaced with the white one on the left that matches the product picture on the site. This white one works fine so far, passes power and audio. I don't know how long it will work but so far so good. This type of design is better than the box style and the length is good, not too long or short. Tested with a Pixel 8 pro phone.

The item works as advertised with Samsung S22 - using USB C port one can output audio and charge at the same time, with battery pack, AC wall adapter ect - and I found no problems with audio while charging. I have had the item for only one day so a review in a few months would be good.

Haven't had this for a week and the charging port is not working.
