As a veteran Trick or Treat parent I was Super hesitant to get my kid an inflatable costume. I have seen way too many kids struggle with awkward costumes and seen the deflate in literal mear minutes. however my kiddo wanted to do A Dino Thing with his friends so ok fine. We got this Dino rider on the left . Friend got the other version from W*lmart on the right. You can see the on e we got here has more details. Kid reported it was slightly awkward to walk in - it IS an inflatable you’re walking a neighborhood in after all- but it wasn’t too bad. It stayed poofed up for the full 2 hours using the high quality batteries like jt said to. The included hat is a bit small, he wore his own cowboy hat. Good quality.

If anyone had any doubts about this thing's durability, doubt not. I literally ran a marathon in it and it held up perfectly fine! Some notes, if anyone else is thinking about doing something equally stupid: 1) I don't know if the battery pack it comes with will last that many hours on a set of AA batteries. I used this Anker battery pack https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BYP4Y1N8/ in this SPI Belt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012C1GQTI/ to power it. The battery had more than 50% left afterwards, so plenty of power for any marathon pace really. 2) This thing would have torn my legs apart, chafing-wise, but I wore full length running tights underneath it. If you plan on any kind of prolonged activity in this costume I HIGHLY recommend wearing full length tights under it. The seams in the dinosaur's squat little legs will rub all over your upper shins and general lower legs. Also the waist band will really dig in if you don't have something underneath it. With the tights underneath it, I had zero chafing, but the facing fabric on the tights got pretty chewed up in a few spots. 3) The elastic cord waist cinch is pretty sturdy, but I put a safety pin through the elastic just above the cord-lock after tightening it down. That way the cord loc couldn't loosen up at all, which it definitely would have as I was running. 4) The reins get kinda annoying after like 10 miles. I have them safety pinned to my running vest here in the photo from the start, but that popped open after less than a mile. The reins are long enough that you can loop them over your head, which I did a decent amount. That lets you swing your arms naturally as you run. The dinosaur looks a lot better though if you hold the reins, and you can swing the head around which the kids cheering on the sidelines loved as I ran by. Seriously though, when I took the suit off, it looked none the worse for having just run a marathon. I was really expecting this thing to fall apart after a few miles but it held up incredibly well. A+

This was a hit. Kids and adults used them for hours. Lots of laughs.

Bought this to wear for a PTO fundraiser and it was a HIT! The kids loved it and it lasted the whole time. Fit is nice because the waist adjusts.

Had a blast with this! The costume loses air the more you walk around with it. The battery-powered fan works great! I walked around for about 2 hours in the costume, and no major issues.

My niece absolutely LOVES dinosaurs. It's my fault entirely for letting her watch all those "The Land Before Time" movies and TV shows. She was thrilled to have the chance to ride around on her own "Baby Chomper" in our local park - and keeps asking to if she can "chase the kids". I paired it up with the adult version so she gets to ride around alongside her now-favourite uncle. Some reviews suggest that a few examples have shipped with bad fans ... but both mine have worked perfectly so far. We've had a few outings with usage totalling several hours. About the only downside was that Amazon shipment of the order on the US-Australia International leg is now using dodgy cut-price operators (in this instance, some muppets called SEKO) whose delivery times leave a lot to be desired and who seem to leave items stuck sitting in a warehouse in Los Angeles or Sydney for a week or more. A little frustrating, but the important thing is that it arrived in the end unlike some of my other recent Amazon US sourced orders.
