More like pastels than crayons!
Great feel, weight, balance and durability, imo!

Some of the best being sold!
I loved these coloring tools for my coloring books. I’m just starting to make videos and wanted a variety and these are superb. Coloring books are in my name.

Smooth coloring
My kids love these gel colors. Great for a toddler to hold and because they twist it makes it easier for your child to not 'eat' the crayons! When coloring the texture goes on so smooth. I almost thought my children were painting! I would definitely purchase these again along with telling all my friends with children about them!

Great… for older kids
I bought these for my kids age 2-10. My oldest two that are ages 7 and 10 did great with them… the almost 3 year old and 5.5 year old got really messy with them. They are really messy if you don’t use them correctly- ha! They were smearing them all over the place and breaking the tops off. Thankfully they are easy to clean! I was thinking these would be more like a smooth crayon consistency, but I would compare them more closely to oil pastels. They smear on paper very easily. Fun to color with because they are very vibrant and smooth but I would not give them to younger kiddos without a ton of supervision.

Smooth and creamy, but for how long?
These "crayons" are absolutely wonderful. They glide on paper as easily as a shower-crayon glides upon a tub. The only difference is that it dries faster (when rubbed). That being said, I highly recommend crafting attire (and space) even when simply using them as crayons. It is absolutely necessary that they stay in their holders, because dry coloring with them caused my daughter's fingers to appear as if she had been playing with markers. The markings washed off easily enough with mild hand soap, but I can't say the same would work if it ever were to get on larger furniture. With Halloween around the corner, I imagine these might also work well for face or body paint, so long as it is kept out of the eyes of course.I love that they are set into their own container, though perhaps colored latches would help little ones find them easier.. (and tired eyes). The colors are definitely not your usual classics. Speaking of which, some of the crayon holders are so similar in shade to each other and out of sync with their actual crayon's color, that you have to lift them up and look at the tip to determine which shade of the color they actually contain. But for the most part, they are easy enough to distinguish.I certainly love these crayons, especially how smooth they glide, though I wonder how long they will last. My little one likes to press down hard (and I'm kinda hoping these will help to curb that tendency), so their softness is also a drawback as well as as a benefit. Only time will tell how well, and for how long, these hold up to the creative musings of family life.

Potential masterpiece! And potential stain disaster:)
Awesome great super messy crayons for a 2/3-year-old, in my opinion or for my messy toddler… There was oily pasty crayon everywhere, my dresser my floor my kitchen counter I don’t even know how It got there… In my opinion this would be an amazing product for a child with a little bit more dexterity control and impulse control LOL which mine has none at this time… But as soon as she does, these will be awesome… I do Love that you can leave the cap off and it seems like they don’t really dry out easily…IF at ALL! ***That is key for an art medium with a small child…In my opinion it’s just not for a very small child unless you are giving them 100% direct supervision… If that’s the case then this is the crayon for you. They are beautiful and the colors are amazing.I can’t say anything to the colors coming out in the wash when they make it to closing, but I can say that they did not super easily come off of services but this is potentially only due to my daughters sneaking around and heavily marking on my things/furniture LOL… Which is my fault, not the crayons. Just giving a full warning they are not a miracle no problem crayon… I wish there was one!

Great for toddlers!
I have a 2yo and a 4yo, and these are great for both of them! They're easy to hold and glide smoothly across the paper. I've noticed regular Crayons can be difficult for little ones, as they're not sure how to apply the right amount of pressure to the paper. With these Crayons, almost no pressure is needed! They're almost like oil pastels, but not as soft. Love them and will likely be getting more in the future!

More saturated colors than other brands, excellent customer service.
I used these [the orange and green ones] on and off for several months and was pleased with them, gliding toward a 5-star rating fer sure. THEN the green one revealed a piece of plastic molded into the bottom ~1/2" of the cylindrical coloring material which made that part unusable and the blue one wouldn't extend when the 'extender' was turned. I will wait to see if the seller will make this 'right' and if they do, I'll edit this review. From what I've seen so far, I'd not recommend purchasing these gel crayons for the 67-cents each that I paid.EDIT: The seller made a complete refund after seeing my experience in using their product. I believe they are sincerely, good people and since they expressed surprise at my finding these faults, I would suggest that others give them a chance to prove it.My use of the gel crayons involved layering a water-soluble color over the gel crayon and getting a different effect than would have been using ordinary wax crayons.UPDATE: Having nearly used these up [at least the intense colors] and having tried others' products which are less saturated I'm getting ready to purchase these again. I prefer them over the others!
