Customer confirmed fit for 2016 Kia Soul.
I needed to replace the mirror positioning motor in my 2016 Kia soul at the time. The dealer from where we purchased the vehicle would only sell us the whole side mirror housing assembly, but not the motor by itself. This may not apply to all, but my presumption is that most dealers would do the same. However, I did not have the temperment to find a dealer that would sell only the mirror motor or a junkyard that had the part available. Despite Amazon Confirmed Fit and the product's vehicle application description, this part does fit and will function in a 2nd Generation Kia Soul (2014-2019). It seems that Hyundai-Kia uses this in a majority of the vehicles they manufacture. (Assumingly, at least for the USDM.) Therefore, I had ordered it. The motor adjusts the sideview mirror's position. This part non-handed; it clearly indicates the TOP and can be used in either the left or right position. (LH/RH TOP - Left/Right Hand Top position) After connecting the plug to the motor, it was relatively easy to install into the side mirror housing. After, the motor is installed, you can then attach the mirror part itself.

Fits 2017 Kia Soul perfectly
I bought this after my side mirror actuator failed causing the side mirror to fall out. This is actually my second time purchasing, because the right side mirror actuator failed a year ago and the left one failed recently. This works for both left and right mirrors as they use the same parts. Just pay attention to the writing that indicates right mirror top (RH Top) and left mirror top (LH Top). This only includes the actuators, so make sure to keep the screws when you remove the old one. The quality I would say is identical to what was in there before, it looks the same. Everything works as expected.
