This Product is just Outstanding!!! I cannot say enough about it!!! It says 8oz Size, but really, this is Compressed, REAL Sphagnum Moss!!! Once you get it out of the package, and break it up, and expand it, this will last you a LONG LONG TIME!! --For all your Gardening needs, ESPECIALLY Indoors!! I love that it can be used for ANYTHING, including Specialty things, like Orchids and Bonsai, Fairy Land Set Ups, Jumping Spider Habitats, Reptile Habitats, Oh my gosh!!! So MANY USES!!! I LOVE it!! VERY AFFORDABLE!. so easy to break apart and use, Appearance will turn green, once watered enough, and is GREAT for Plant Health!!!

I wasn't sure when it arrived but now that I have it open and soaked, I see it is good quality and quantity and would order again.

This moss is exactly what I wanted. The block is very compressed, so it expands to be much more than it looks. Perfect for my nepenthes and other carnivorous plants! I wouldn't be surprised if it came back to life soon.

I'm not gonna lie, when I opened this packed I thought I had been had 😅. I thought "this is it?". I figured I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. Talk about bang for your buck! It's not very dusty, in fact I like it more than the dryer noncompressed stuff I get at the local pet shop. I like the different shades of color that came out once it soaked up all the water. It doesn't have a very strong smell, but it does have the distinct moss smell that I actually kinda like. I'm excited to use it for little moss props, I'm sure my plants will grow great in it!

It came in a little brick. However as i was soaking it in rain water. The Sphagnum moss began to expand big time. Don't let it fool you. It's holding water quite well. There was minimal debris. It smells pleasant. Nothing foul. Which was good. So far i haven't had any issues growing new repotted Venus Flytraps.

Great for my hanging baskets

Very happy with the quality of this sphagnum moss. It comes highly compacted, which is great for storage, but be prepared—it takes a bit of effort to take apart. I was a little impatient at first and misjudged the amount: started with too little, then definitely went too far, and now I have a whole bucket of hydrated moss left over 😄 That’s on me, not the product—but it’s worth knowing that it expands a lot once wet. Because it’s so tightly packed, cutting it into blocks with a saw or strong knife before hydrating might actually make things easier and more manageable. Once prepared, the moss works really well. Plants seem to love it, and it holds moisture nicely without feeling slimy or breaking down too quickly. Overall, great quality and good value. I’d absolutely buy it again—just with a bit more patience next time.

This sphagnum moss runs out quite quickly if you have multiple plants, so I would recommend purchasing a larger pack if possible. It has a subtle earthy smell, which I don’t mind at all, and it retains moisture very well. I’ve been using it for my plant collection, and it does a great job keeping the roots and growing medium evenly moist. Overall, it’s a good-quality sphagnum moss, but if you have a lot of plants, you’ll likely need more than one pack.

Das Moss ist wirklich super und lässt sich sehr einfach verarbeiten zusammen mit Wasser. Habe nun meine Monstera endlich kit einem Moosstab versehen und werde das restliche Moos als Beimischung für Substrate verwenden. Preislich wirklich Top!
