La Croix Sparkling Water, Guava Sao Paulo, 12 Fl Oz (pack of 8)

Bought for a visiting guest from the US who likes them. I tried one and didn't like it, not much flavour and a strong soda taste. Quite expensive.

The image in the product is a nice little case of La Croix. My wife loved La Croix during our trip to America, so I decided to get this as a wee extra for her christmas; as La Croix is impossible to find over here. What I received is the box of a 12 pack; crudely ripped open with 4 cans removed. Although I got the 8 cans I bought, and so can’t exactly fault the seller- the presentation of this product is poor.

Die Liefwrung kam wie immer überpünktlich und gut verpackt. Nur muss man einen halb zerfetzten Umkarton mitschicken? Hier bekommt man nämlich nur acht Dosen. Ein Karton beinhaltet aber eigentlich 12 Dosen. Da muss man genau lesen, wenn man keine Enttäuschung erleben möchte. Zudem das Getränk eh überteuert verkauft wird. Man bekommt es aber leider nicht so einfach.

I've heard a lot about LaCroix over the past several years as it seems to be a really popular drink in the US. I wasn't quite sure what I was expecting when I purchased this but it was quite underwhelming for my taste. If you enjoy drinking soda water you'll probably like this drink, it's basically soda water (i.e. effervescent, bitter) with a very faint hint of guava flavour. There's no sweetness to this particular flavour at all. As it comes in at zero kilojoules/calories you could probably drink this whilst fasting without breaking your fast. Overall it's an ok alternative to water but not something I'd personally crave.
