Perfect for a slightly higher tuning on a baritone guitar
As someone who is primarily a keyboardist but also plays guitar, I often find the standard guitar tuning to be limiting and arbitrary, and I'm always looking for ways to extend the range. I bought a baritone guitar and really enjoyed using the lower tunings, yet some of my tunings , such as C# standard don't really work very well on a 27" scale baritone or a 25.5" scale guitar. There was either too much tension on the shorter scale guitar or too little on the longer scale guitar. Intonation issues all around. I had just about given up hope on setting up a guitar with this tuning and just using a capo on a baritone guitar tuned to B standard, but I thought I would give this set a try, and wow, it's perfect. Even tension across all the strings and none of the sitar like buzz that regular medium gauge strings gave me. I use my guitar for alternative rock, dream pop, and post-hardcore, and I love the way these strings feel. If you're not so picky about your strings, maybe you'll get by with one of the easier to find sets, but it's awesome that D'Addario offers these at such a low price. I've been buying their strings for years, yet I'm still impressed at the range of strings they offer and just how well their strings balance. I can't say enough good things about them. So happy to find a set that works for my guitar.

My new go-to for gigging
Excellent strings. Blow Ernie Balls out of the water if you're gigging regularly. I wipe everything down after every time I handle my guitar, and I could only get about 2-3 shows out of the EBs before they were trashed. I got 5-6 out of the D'Addarios. The biggest benefit though is that wound third string...sounds and stays in tune MUCH better than the unwound third on the EBs. Really not trying to put down EB as a company, but for the same gauge strings and playing heavily detuned, sweaty face-melting metal, it's not even a comparison.

Excellent if you play jazz..
I love these strings, thick, loud, bright tones, and excellent on the tuning.. best for clean notes and lush chords.

Good
It’s a good set of strings but thing is that the high e is horrible and it always breaks (atleast for me)

EJ22 13-56 Jazz Medium are perfect for playing at C or B standard for Stoner/Doom/Fuzz
I threw a set of the EJ22 13-56 Jazz Medium on my Schecter Tempest Custom and they're perfect for playing Type O Negative in B, and Sleep or High on Fire in C. Even at higher gauge still fret and bend comfortably. Like another commentor mentioned, I'd used Ernie Ball my whole life(it's what my Dad used back in the 80s), but I'm so happy with these.

Perfect for B-standard (baritone) tuning
Using these strings you can turn any guitar set up for .010-.046 (regular light) strings into a baritone with minimal adjustment - the saddles will need to be moved slightly to correct for intonation especially on the 3rd string if switching from a plain to the wound .026. I use them on my Dean ML '79 for B Standard and Drop A. The idea behind using this set is that the low E string remains .046, the A .036, the D .026 etc, so the tension remains the same across the fretboard and neither your fingers nor the neck / truss rod will know the difference.

Took a chance and it paid off.
I was looking for a set of heavier strings that used the similar gauging formula that Power Slinkys do, and picked up a couple packs of these Medium Jazz. They play great on a custom guitar I built, and I'm happy with their clear well rounded tone. They work great both clean or distorted, which is great for me since I play Metal in E 4th flat for a thicker crunchier growl, without having to tune down to Dropped Z.

Totally excellent when magnetic pickups aren’t canceling them out!
