Japanese Hojicha Powder Roasted Green Tea 100g

Good taste

Haven't tried it in baking yet. I use this to make lattes. Best with milk but always good with water.

I buy this brand a couple of times a year, and usually it’s fantastic. But my most recent package tastes almost burnt? Of course I know hojicha is roasted tea, but just like coffee, it can also lead to a slight bitterness if it’s too much. I’d still buy again though!

This tea is soooo good for a latte, just add maple syrup ice and milk.

Tried for both baking & drink - amazing. You just need to put more to have a more stronger taste.

I bought this after getting into Hojicha, off from a matcha binge. It’s great for tea. Would like if the flavor were smokier, but it’s still good. Really hard to find Hojicha outside of Japan

Just got back from Japan and this tastes exactly like the hojicha tea I had there, very pricey but it's so good - mix with a bit of milk to get the perfect hojicha milk tea ❤️

Pretty good for what you can get in the UK. As it says on the package it is confectionary quality so don't expect the highest grade hojicha you typically get in Japan. If you are making a latte, don't follow the amounts written on the package, it would be too watery in my opinion. I would recommend you use your typical matcha:water ratio (I do 4g tea x 30g water, 120g milk of choice)
