I like that this clay is truly a matte finish. I have tried many different products that claim to have a matte texture but don't. It's a pretty light clay. The closest analogy to describe it's texture would be like whipped butter. It's not overly gritty and holds pretty well. The hold is not as great as some other products which means that I have to use more and go through a container pretty quickly.

Very thin and not holding at all , wast of money.

I love this sculpting clay hair product! It has a good hold and it’s easy to apply. It gives my hair a natural and matte look, and it doesn’t make it greasy or sticky. It also smells nice and washes out easily. It works well for any hair type and style. I use it every day to create different looks and I always get compliments on my hair. I agree with the reviews saying this is more of a texturing paste than a clay. It's not particularly thick, and it's not very sticky. I'm a woman with a pixie cut, and it does well with piecing out my hair and giving it some texture. However, I would like it to have a little bit higher hold so I don't have to re-fix my hair into position throughout the day.
