Like a lot of suburban men, my standing in the neighborhood is at least partially determined by the quality of my lawn. I was good. My lush green lawn signified that I was a good provider and family man. Someone who could be trusted. Then my lovely wife brought home a new puppy. Soon, yellow spots in the lawn were negatively affecting my status. I made some subtle, veiled threats about me or the puppy and quickly learned where I ranked in the household. Pro tip: don't try to compete with a new puppy. I was skeptical that this product would have any effect. The product reviews were mixed. But I had to try something. To my surprise the product worked exactly as advertised. It seems to "heal" the soil and make it immune to further burn damage from the puppy's urine. It will not repair the existing spots. I had to loosen the soil and reseed the damaged areas. But the product has stopped the damage. My lawn looks better than ever. My reputation has been restored. Also, I did not experience the odor that other reviewers noted. Thanks for making a great product!

Should have read the reviews before ordering. Would not have purchased! Did absolutely nothing for my lawn! Still have yellow spots with more appearing daily. Even bought the chews and has done nothing either. Very disappointed! Wish I could figure out how to get my money back!

About the first of May I made my first application of See Spot Run. After this first application I saw little improvement in my lawn's ability to survive the urine from the three Scottish Terrier bitches that we had at the time. I made a second application in late June after reseeding. The reseeding appeared to come back stronger in the area that was protected. Unfortunately, July and August saw us experience a six to eight week drought that impacted the success of the product. I made a third application Labor Day and at this time aftter nearly four months I am quite pleased to say that the product has worked miracles. For the first time in the 20 years since we have had Scotty bitches in the household, I will not need to reseed in the spring. I have used this product during the Spring and Summer and held off on writing a review until I had had a chance to play with it for a bit. I live in the Atlanta area and have new (2nd year) Zoysia grass. I also have four dogs, two females and two males, all ranging from 25 to 90 pounds. I'm pretty meticulous about my grass and it killed me to see what my dogs were doing to it. After playing with this product for a few months, I will say that it does what it is supposed to do. I tested a few areas in the yard where the dogs were doing the most damage. I treated a section and left another section untreated to see how the lawn would recover. It is not a miracle cure, it does not grow grass where the dogs have killed it, but it does speed up the recovery of those dead areas and allows new growth to fill in the dead areas faster than the untreated area. I increased the frequency of the treatments to every three weeks in a couple of spots, but did not see a noticeable benefit. When I had a spot that was dead or dying, I scuffed away the dead grass which seemed to allow for the new grass to fill in easier. I only gave it four stars because my grass did not automatically shoot up out of the ground with rainbows and unicorns.

I went through the entire bottle and didn't see much of a difference. Maybe my dogs urine is just too potent! Was hoping for better results!

I have 3 female's 2 of which are not spayed. The first time I used See Spot Run I could literally see a change within 48 hours. Within a month if that it was totally back to green and stayed that way. This is our 2nd time using the product and again it's been a miracle worker.

I tried it for 4 weeks applied it the same day and I did not see a change for the positive. Some of the brown spots turned black. (I have never see that before) overall I dont think it did any harm, except to the pocket book.

Based on the reviews this product received, I was really excited to give See Spot Run a try. I followed the instructions on the bottle, even quarantined the area for a week prior to giving my dogs access. But I was disappointed when it failed to prevent urine burns on my grass. Update: I was pleasantly surprised when the owner of See Spot Run personally called me to address my concerns. I learned the areas turned brown because it was freshly laid St Augustine sod. The grass roots were not fully established to properly work with this product. This theory bolds true because after a few weeks, the areas returned to their lush green color. This was not the case for areas I did not treat with See Spot Run. We also concluded that the treated area (9X30) was too small to handle three dogs, so I increased my application slightly and on occasion spot treated areas where my dogs had just urinated. Applied it twice. One week apart. Mowed lawn, applied, watered well. No noticable improvement in burnt lawn patches. Sorry this didn't work for me. $85 wasted.

I was expecting the bottle to be bigger but it works really well with reapplying every 3 weeks. I will need to get more.
