Goodbye Apple Watch
I have been an Apple Watch user for over 7 years. I have also looked at the Garmin Fenix solar for the last 3 years after a friend praised his. From the time of unboxing the fenix you can tell Garmin puts pride into everything from the box to the product. The packaging was great, with the contents secure and safe. Set up was a breeze with the directions that are provided and I like how easy it was to set up the application on my iPhone. I like that you are able to build watch faces and put all the information you want on set up and how easy it is to change when needed. The touchscreen on the fenix is responsive and does not lag or jump around and makes it easy to select the data needed. The backlight makes viewing the screen in any situation clear and crisp. In the sunlight I like the solar feature to help with the battery life. I only have to charge my fenix around every 13-14 days which is 14 days longer between charges than my Apple Watch ever was. The GPS feature works very well and I no not have any issues reviewing my data after workouts. The fenix is also very comfortable and does feel bulky or heavy even through it looks larger that other watches. I do not use the sleep tracking feature as I do not like having things on my wrist at night, but from what I have read it works well. Overall I am very glad I made the decision to move from the Apple Watch to a true fitness watch. I am sure for some they like Apple Fitness tracking but I no longer have to worry about my workouts getting ended from contact with my watch. 100% recommend if you are on the fence, go for it!

Best Smartwatch I've ever owned, period
This watch is incredible. The soft flexible band is comfortable (I can't wear metal bands anymore as they interfere with typing and mouse). It's big enough (I tried the 7X and it's nice but it's too heavy for me even though it fits better). I wish this one had the LED light but that's about all I miss from the 7X. The battery lasts over a week and i use it for hiking, cardio, breathwork, and much more. There are so many cool faces you can download and the way the hiking topo maps keep track of your hike is cool. I love the stress numbers, the sleep numbers, and just all the data in general. If you are a data nerd and love data, you will love this watch. There are just so many pros and very few if any cons. The only thing I don't love is the proprietary charging cable and I have to take it off to charge a couple of times a month. The solar is cool but even with a few hours of exposure daily, it won't charge it all the way. It will give you a few percent a day, so even if you were camping or away from power for a week, you still won't need to charge it. There are so many settings that you can make the watch unique. I might consider the Epic over this if you like more colors. Fenix 7 series is 64 colors and the Epic is 64,000 plus the Epic display is the bomb but no Solar is available. If you're an active person or just a golfer (lol) you will love this watch. I can't recommend this enough.

Absolutely Obsessed—Best Watch I’ve Ever Owned
I’m completely obsessed with my Garmin Fenix 7. I wear it just about 24/7—it’s that good. The battery life is incredible; I usually only need to charge it while I shower. I’m really active, and this watch keeps up with me every single day. I also sleep in it to monitor my sleep, and the data it provides is super detailed and insightful. It’s durable, smart, and packed with features. Truly the best watch I’ve ever owned.

Excellent
Husband loves it. It's durable, which is important because he works construction. He's had it for about a year and has only scuffed the bezel a little bit. The buttons haven't clogged up with gunk despite him working in dusty, sweaty environments. The band is great and durable. It's jam packed with features and the layout is not exactly the most user friendly, but once you get past the learning curve it's fine.

Incredible Fitness Watch
Got this to replace an apple watch. Outstanding features, easy to use, beautiful well made watch. Awesome customer support. Haven't had it long enough to see if battery life is as long as predicted. So many features I doubt I will use them all but has everything I want: exercise metrics, sunrise/sunset, HRV, weather, ABC, in addition to maps, breadcrumb options, VO2, etc. You can change the face metrics colors etc. It's expensive but so far appears to be a winner in everything I've done. Website give assistance/ chat responses are quick and to the point. I guess my only complaint is it doesn't come with a plug for the charging cable (minor issue). If you think about this- BUY IT. You wont be disappointed

Probably Deserves 5, But...
This watch truly does it all, and it has been a lifesaver for me--probably in a literal sense. It's comfortable and it looks great, especially with customizable watch faces. Battery life is superb. Super easy to use, and they seem to have thought of everything (example: turning off touch screen while you're recording an exercise activity but still allowing scrolling/functionality with intuitive button presses). The data collected are really helpful, especially if you sync them with Strava (subscription costs extra). I bought the HRM-one heart rate monitor to pair with it and it works very well. I had been concerned about the accuracy of the watch's HRM readings, but it turns out they were mostly pretty dead on. With the strap I also get all sorts of useful info about my gait efficiency. I really want to give this 5 stars. THE ONLY ISSUE is the fitness tracker/recommendations. I have been working out A TON ever since I got this, which was sort of the point. This watch wants me to slow down and do more "low aerobic" activities. As a result, for two weeks it has been warning me I'm "unproductive" and my stats (VO2 max and heat acclimation) have backslid inexplicably even though I'm working out all the damn time (in summer heat, no less). Sure, I may be overdoing it a little, but this watch can't seriously think I'm trending backward in terms of my fitness level. I appreciate the amount of thought and expertise that apparently went into these metrics, but how about some credit for putting in a whole lot of work?? I was hoping the HRM strap would help the app recalibrate its expectations based on more accurate biodata, but if anything this problem got worse. Garmin product support specialists were awesome and friendly, but all they could tell me was to take these automated assessments with a big grain of salt. I didn't buy this watch expecting it to be my personal trainer, but to the extent it wants to be, it comes up woefully short. OH, and also I think I may be allergic to the blue titanium bezel and clasp, so if your skin is sensitive to certain metals, be careful.

Great watch!
Great product, very durable and easy to use. Charge last about 3 weeks and fits well. Have bought some extra watch bands in different designs which is nice for when I wanna switch things up and I have also worn in the shower as well many times with no issue. Highly recommend and have no regrets with the purchase.

Life changing
Had Apple Watches for a few years, loved them overall but hated the daily charging. This watch not only holds battery for many weeks, but ended up delivering wayyyy better sleep and fitness metrics than the Apple Watch. I love it and will never go back. Give it a try!

Montre multisport parfaite
