Finally a nice quality rechargeable light. Two mounting options were included with the light. The pictured spring loaded arm lets you hook over the edges of a hood or across the roof inside the car. There is also a set of magnetic mounts included though their usefulness is questionable as more cars come with aluminum roofs. The manufacturer shows using them on a painted exterior surface but that's a good way to scratch a car. The light itself is quite bright, even on the lower output mode--my eyes can't tell much of a difference. Everything feels well made, with the only questionable spots being plastic clips to attach the light to the spring loaded arm. The arm ships in two pieces and the connection is a little loose, but plenty secure. Overall an excellent buy. Used it for my first project, installing a remote starter so lots of interior work, and simply put worked awesome to light up the interior. Worked about 5 hours with the light on. In looking at the connection on the two pieces of the arm, I think shooting a couple screws in the connection would make it stiffer, not that its really a problem.

LED's are great for lighting up areas. If you work on cars in your garage it just seems that no matter what type of lighting you have it is not enough that makes its way in to the engine compartment. Here comes this device. Strength? This is pretty sturdy and strong. The springs at either end are not going to crush your hood, but coupled with the fine detail of adding rubber to the hooked ends this work light is a great addition to any car enthusiast. The lighting is great too, I have used this on several car projects and work and this was awesome. So well, I worked until 1am on a work night. Lost track of time and just kept working and working because the ease of seeing things. Of course I was a wreck the next day, but the job was done. This is a must have for any one who works on cars. A bit pricey, but quality does come with a price tag. I am happy to have bought this and making working on my cars easier.....well, not on a work night. Lol But you will love this.

I loved this light while it was working. The brightness level was great for my needs (working at night in a home garage, doing work under the hood of my car and the interior cabin of the car). I liked the simplicity of the high/low/off power button, and the fact that it used USB-C to charge. During the week that I owned it, it worked wonderfully until the seventh day when it just completely turned off even though it was plugged in and fully charged. Technically, the light was super dim, to the point where I didn't realize at first that the light was actually still barely on. Now that I've noticed the other 1-star reviews detailing the same issue, I'm not going to bother giving it another try. It's sad because I loved the design and operation of the light. Those aspects just don't matter at all though when the light no longer works at all.

I'm a mechanic/collision tech for heavy duty trucks like rigs, buses and RVs. At home I do all my own mechanic work and restore classics as a hobby. This light is incredibly bright, one is enough for under hood work, but in sleepers I use 2 plus an additional spot light. So it works well as both an ambient light source and for more precise work as well. My only issue with these is that the battery life is somewhat spotty. 1 light will work at it's most powerful setting for up to 5 hours, while the other will not last more than 90 minutes on a full charge. The one I keep at home works well for a few hours then goes out. I don't know if it's a battery defect or what, it's not the charger as I have switched out chargers between all 3 will the same results. I'd buy them again if needed though, the price is right and it puts out enough light that the short battery life on the one isn't all that big of an issue. Well worth it.

I’ve been using this for quite some time and I will say it’s way better than snap ons hood light. I’ve compared it to my buddies and the brightness is better. It’s pretty durable, I’ve dropped it a few times and it’s holding up. I’d choose this over any magnetic hood light.

If you're looking at an under hood LED, just buy it. This light is really functional. Works under the hood or grabs the roof to illuminate the interior of working in the vehicle. I lay it on the floor to light the bottom side up too. A few LEDs have gone out in the first 6 mo. which is too soon but for the price not a huge deal. Flashlight, trouble lights that always point the wrong direction, I wish I would have bought a light like this year's ago.

I’ve been a pro detailer for almost 20 years and had several of these style lights. This one tops them all in ALL areas. Battery life on highest setting is great and the newly designed LED lights are top notch. My fav is how far it expands for all types of vehicles. One of my fav tools.

Great light for about 20 mins then it went dull, recharged it and still dull. Turns on and off ok just a faint glow

Solo una vez me sirvió ,me aguanto como 2 hrs y posteriormente lo volví a cargar por más de 4 hs y ya no encendió. decepcionado del producto

No tarda mucho .. lo cargue toda la noche ., y se descarga muy rápido ., no me fijé la fecha para poder regresarlo .. ni modo
