I have used these for years and have always had no issues forming them to my mouth. I replace them every 3 months and they aren't worn out just hard to get clean. This particular package for some reason when molding them to my mouth everything seemed just as they always are but this time the mouthguard did not come easily out of the tray and in the process developed a rough spot. Thankfully another trip through the microwave and refitting did the trick, it released from the tray more easily and no rough spot.

Originally I bought this at a pharmacy while traveling. I grind my teeth and left my mouth guard at home. This was perfect because you don’t need to boil water yo mold it, you can do it in a microwave. Hotels usually have a microwave so I got this. I have been buying them on Amazon ever since. I really like this particular mouth guard for a couple of reasons. Mostly it’s the low profile it has. I had a much larger mouth guard before and it shredded my gums. This doesn’t come up as high and rests just below your gum line. Very comfortable. Great fit and not bulky. The second thing I like about it is that only one gets molded to your teeth. The bottom side stays flat. Might seem like a negative, but if you’re wearing this for sleep not sport it is a much better fit as your teeth don’t need to line up perfectly.

Absolutely useless! Its so thin and tiny and it doesn't get attached to your teeth no matter what you do. You could swallow it without noticing while you are asleep. It actually dangerous. DO NOT BUY. Complete waste of money. It doesn't hold. Overrated garbage.

I'd been using my hard splint professionally made at the orthodontist for 3 years but I recently got a new crown and it no longer fits. At first I tried one of the other ones without a tray that you dip in boiling water and it either didn't make a deep enough impression of my teeth, felt more comfortable worn on the bottom teeth, or I left it in the hot water too long when I tried a third time to get a better impression. I had destroyed it. With the tray and microwave for the Oral B you really can't go wrong. You will however want to place the white case in a bowl because the water comes to a boil quickly and will spill over. Once I got it in my mouth, I made sure I pressed on it as hard as I could with my thumbs and bit hard to make sure I got a good impression. I could tell it was going to stay in place because it did not drop off my teeth. You definitely want to run it under very cold water to get it as hard as possible. For sure it is difficult to remove from the tray but with patience and persistence you will get it, and I didn't have to put it into the freezer. Once I got it out of the tray and back into my mouth I basically had a soft version of my hard $1,000 one. I looked at it and found the impression was very deep, especially the two front teeth just like my professional model. The only complaint is a ridge left on the inner arch behind the two front teeth but maybe I'll get used to it. I thought about trying to cut it off but I'm afraid I might make it worse. I know it won't last near as long as the hard professional one but for $20 I can buy 50 of them for the price of the professional one and that makes me happy. I'll update this review when I learn how much life I got out of it before I have to make another.

I grind my teeth at night, and this guard has helped me so much. It’s comfortable to wear, easy to mold for a good fit, and really cuts down on the pain I used to feel in the morning. The best part is the price!! Much more affordable than what my dentist was offering, but it still feels like great quality. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with grinding at night!

Instructions work as printed. Relatively easy to form to teeth. Product was very difficult to remove from the included form. Would be better if the amount of product was increased around the front teeth which would help it retain on the teeth better. Seems durable as a temporary substitute for a dentist made device.

Easy to make, fits well and comfortably (there’s a bit more material where the tip of my tongue rests then my dentist-made one, but it’s Impressively thin compared to the old otc chonkers I was used to), and seems durable after night one— quite impressed for the cost!

Pros The product was super easy and fast to use. Snaps in at night securely. Price is amazing. Comes with a breathable storage case. Cons I am a seriously bad clencher at night and my only complaints about this mouthguard is I wish it covered more teeth in the direction toward my throat. Its a bit smaller then the one from my dentist. I also wish it was a little bit thinner. But overall for the price, ease of use, and if you are only an average grinder or clencher, I think this will work just fine.
