High Density 1/4-Inch Thick Gym Equipment Mat, Non-Slip Floor Protection for Heavy Exercise, Treadmill and Bike Mat in Multiple Sizes

I purchased a BalanceFrom Fitness 3' x 6.5' High Density Gym Equipment Mat after I purchased a treadmill - with my carpeting the treadmill was moving while I was on it and it was dangerous so I bought this mat. I've had it for over a year now which is why I have rated so long to give a review and it still holding its own. I don't know about the noise reduction as I live in the middle of rural Georgia and I'm hearing impaired so I can't help y'all there. However, my treadmill does not move at all now! It's stationary as it should be. I've noticed some reviews where folks said that there was an odor to the mat, but mine had a slight odor so I laid it out on my porch on a dry sunny day, aired it out and I brought it back inside. I had a friend of mine help me move the treadmill. We put the mat down and it's been there ever since - on top of a very thin carpet. I have plenty of room to maneuver, the treadmill is centered perfect fit, and the mat is thick enough and has a firm grip, and it functions exactly what I needed.

We purchased a new treadmill to add to our home gym. Needed a new rubber mat to place under it. This is exactly what we were looking for. The size is just the right length. The thickness is perfect. It's lightweight so easy to move around (if needed), but yet thick/durable/heavy enough to protect our flooring underneath. The rubber material is also thick enough to withstand the weight of a large piece of heavy gym equipment. This would also make a good mat in an exercise room for floor exercises, yoga, etc.... GREAT price point! I researched multiple options and this was a very fair price compared to other options I searched. The product arrived FAST and I do not have Amazon Prime. :)

I kept getting shocked while on the treadmill, and it was recommended that I put a mat underneath. This gym equipment mat solved the problem perfectly. It’s nice and thick, doesn’t interfere with the treadmill, and provides exactly what I needed at a good price. Highly recommend for anyone with treadmill static issues.

Disclaimer -- there is some sort of free item claim upon review submission. But then i review most of my purchases and this one is no different. this review is not impacted by the free item claim. Requirement -- this mat was purchased for some in garage / patio calisthenics workouts owing to Covid-19 situation. this is a heavy well built mattress. straight out of the boxhad that rubber / chemical smell (not overpowering but it was there). Put it out in the sun for a coupe of days (bright sunny and rainy as well) and the smell is all gone. Now sits in the garage for workouts and has been put to a month+ of daily usgae. Pros -- -- extremely well built, sturdy and heavy mattress. -- Thickness is decent for the amount paid. spot jogging on it did mitigate the impact from the ground. -- the rubber density is very good. indents do get created as you stand on it but no to the extent to feel the ground beneath. -- grippy surface -- the texture is such to not let the foot slip and that is very helpful for mountain climbers/burpees. Cons -- -- dust does tend to reduce the grip a bit. A simple fix is to wipe it with a wet power towel (cleanex wipes are great but i am not sure of the effects of chemicals in the long run). Definitely recommended.

This 96in x 48in mat offers excellent coverage for treadmills such as the Sole F85 or F89. My Sole F85 sits firmly on it, and the mat supports the machine’s roughly 300‑pound weight without any issues (the same applies to models like the Sole F80 or F85). I wouldn’t recommend pushing or pulling the treadmill while the mat is underneath, though this can vary depending on your setup.

We've purchased five of these so far, only one sits under a treadmill. It is great for that use if that's what you're looking for; ours has protected our carpet from our treadmill for over three years and it still looks great. We use our treadmill on a weekly basis. We also used one under a bike trainer. It works well for that purpose too. It wipes down easily and looks great after a couple years of use. We have one under each of our dog crates. The mat cuts easily with a good pair of scissors so we cut it to fit the size of our crates. We have two labs and use the mats to protect our hardwood floors and carpet from the dog crates. The mats work very well for this too. The only wear is from our puppy chewing on the corner (he is a lab). Finally, we use one of these to protect our back door from rain water. Our back door is partially covered and has a gap between the door and the porch. It's too complicated to describe how we use it, but we cut the mat to the size we needed it with a pair of scissors and it stops the water from damaging the door frame. We also ended up with a smaller mat left over that we use for a kettlebell drop mat when doing garage workouts. In summary, this is a very versatile mat that is great to use as advertised or for many other purposes. It's pliable enough to be resized with a good pair of scissors, but durable enough to handle daily use.

I am very pleased with this mat. It arrived in time and in excellent condition. It unrolled easily and had only a minimal curl at the end that had the tightest roll. I did not notice any smell or odor. I ordered this to help protect my floor and reduce some noise from my new treadmill. I easily unrolled it and maneuvered my Nordictrack onto it. As you can see from the photos, it is the perfect size. The treadmill fits both the width and the length of this mat. The mat feels like an appropriate thickness, and seems to have enough cushion without sacrificing durability. As I don't plan to use it for an exercise mat (although I certainly could), I expect that it will last a long time. For the price, I couldn't beat it. I will update my review if I have any issues, but based on my initial impressions I don't expect to have any.

La compré para colocarla debajo de una bicicleta estática. Impide cualquier tipo de movimiento indeseado y protege el suelo del agua y sudor que puedan caer mientras se está utilizando. Precio muy razonable.

Este tapete es básicamente la última línea de defensa entre tus pisos y el apocalipsis de tu equipo de ejercicio. ¡Ideal para cuando decides que tu sala de estar es tu nuevo gimnasio de alta intensidad!
