Bumper Guard (HitchHammer 11.5" Wide)

This bumper guard is the perfect protector for the rear end of your car. I live in a busy city with two universities. It’s not just kids who are on their phones and not paying attention; adults on their phones don’t pay attention, either. They get too wrapped up in their conversations and pay little mind to….ooops! And they rear end you. This bumper guard has saved my car. I highly recommend it. It fits great and looks good.

11.5" bumper guard, looks good and should protect the bumper

So we've had kids forget and step on this but it is still hanging in there. The guard itself has actually caused people to not park with their bumper on mine. Which was a rare annoyance but now isn't an issue. An unexpected benefit!

I purchased this item to act as a push device more than a protection device. Looks to be durable and made of very tough material. Very well-made. Happy I made the purchase. having a removable 2 inch receiver Added to the front of my Tahoe to accept this for pushing if needed.

I simply bought this to put a little more distance between my RAV4 and the other cars (why do they insist on getting so close?). With the red reflector and the curve of this it allows some distance without being obnoxious or potentially dangerous to a driver hitting it.

I haven't been rear ended in over 30 years. I bought a new $65,000 Wrangler 4xe and immediately put this in the hitch just in case. I wish it could be both a step and protection but it's not a step. During rush hour in the first week of ownership of my new Jeep a school bus rear ended a Ford Escort that a 16 year old girl was driving. She didn't hit her breaks so she hit the rear of my Jeep. I barely felt a thing. Her radiator was on the pavement, front grill pushed in. A mess. My Jeep however, didn't have a single scratch. Even the Hitchhammer was in perfect condition. I put on an extension hitch piece of "7 just to make sure nothing could come close to hitting the rear tire. That would have damaged the rear door significantly. The Hitchhammer is amazing and worth 10x its cost. I love it.
