Good as a crude indicator of temperature.
I question the accuracy of this thermometer but have not given it a rigorous test or tried to calibrate it. I do understand that I can adjust it and may elect to do that eventually. My immediate need was to simply know about how warm/cool it is on a porch and am unconcerned with accuracy. So a very cheap thermometer attracted my eye. Very light and easy to mount most anywhere. Huge numerals make it easy to read from a distance of 15 feet (hey it's cold and I'm not going out there to see the thermometer). Slow to respond as expected for a bi-metal thermometer. Want a cheap thermometer? Here ya go.
