The second hand pauses or comes to a complete stop when it gets to the minute hand. I like every thing about the clock except that it doesn’t tell time! Now, we have received a replacement clock and is working perfectly. Amazon and the clock manufacturer together made right what had been a disappointment.

Very nice clock for my mantel...had to elevate it several inches....wish it was still taller......white numbers are difficult to read from a distance....they should have made the numbers black and the background white...otherwise it looks very nice

Clean, vintage look with large numbers that are easy to read from across the room. Completely silent, no ticking at all.

The clock is slow and there’s no way to adjust for that. Not terribly. Maybe 1-2 minutes per month. Note that the face is quite large, but despite white numbers somehow hard to read in dim light. Looks like wood which is nice.

Loved the clock. Bought it just over 1 year ago. Now it won’t keep time. New batteries, 1 day later it’s hours behind. Bummer. But I can’t trust Arely as a company anymore. Buyer beware.

That’s how I made up my mind I nu it was The One 👏. It arrives. Usual Amazon way. Well wrapped / boxed 10/10. Looked great Thers no sound At All Silence. ( if that’s wat your preference is ) Don’t expect expensive Solid Wood. Remember wat you’ve paid. It’s an Old Theme - new Sort of light smooth plastic/wood. Smooth silky n shine to the feel of it. When our mantel clock died after 20 years, I bought this replacement clock. While larger than expected, it fit our decor beautifully and we like the fact that we can actually read the time from across the room now.
