Has this product caused anyone else’s scalp to itch?

No scalp itch for me which is why I am using it - other products make my scalp itch.

I have a lot of 4 inch hairs mixed in with my long hair, all over my head. They stick out when I put my hair in a bun. Will this product hold them up?

Not sure. I have short hair. I can say that this is what I would call "medium" to "light" hold for a styling product. It goes on as a gel and you have a few minutes to work into the shape you wanted. I have also had good luck adding a little water and working it again. The finished hair feels soft and natural,
