Osprey Sirrus Women's Backpack

This bag is brilliant. I wanted something with the osprey back mesh as I do get warm whilst walking and this really helps (though it doesn't alleviate it entirely and it's a pain in the butt if you get an itch on your back 😂). It's filled with so many helpful pockets so as a mum that hikes with children, I can easily set everything out in its place and go to exactly where I need to go to find it again, unlike my last bag which had two pockets and everything I needed would always sink to the bottom!! It has a space for trekking poles as well as a side holder for easy access although it's not always easy to use but handy enough to get them out the way quickly to assist a child 😅 Straps are adjustable and being petite I've managed to find a good setup and it's far more comfortable than my previous bag. The additional hip straps really make a difference to the weight in your shoulders, I didn't realise until I had hip straps! 2 drinks pockets which are nice and deep for bigger flasks, and two hip strap pockets which are fab for quick snack locations and smaller items like keys. I do really rate this for mums/ladies and I feel the 34l is a happy medium for day hikes when you have children - you could probably go smaller if you don't have to carry all the extra snacks and a super size first aid kid for every possible eventuality 😅 Worthwhile investment if you like to get those miles in!

Brilliant bag, comfortable and holds plenty. Buy the Europe one as it’s cheaper but exactly the same - it’s due to sellers license.

Love this pack. The torso is adjustable, I am 5”2 or 5”3 on a good hair day and I have it on the shortest setting so maybe if you are under 5” 2 it might be too long. Already used it on a couple dozen hikes ranging from half day to full day, in hot and rainy weather. It is a good size for a dayhike both in summer when you need to carry more water, and in fall when you need all the rain gear. A couple minor cons: - one plastic piece that covers the elastic of the ice pick attachment snapped after a couple weeks. Doesn’t affect the functionally but worth noting - the mesh side pockets are good for holding bottles but not easy to reach the bottle on the go unless you are very flexible (I am not)

I returned this because it was a bit too big for a day hike. The quality is excellent. Adjustable and fit really well. Plenty of pockets and rain cover included. I will re order if the smaller rucksack doesn't compare to this.

Brilliant bag & service, but not enough information on the description of the product as I had to return due to the size of the frame being too large for my torso length!!

Für mich stellt Osprey die am besten sitzenden Rucksäcke her und die vielen Taschen und ihre Aufteilung sind perfekt. Ich bin 1,67m und wiege 88 kg und im Gegensatz zu den anderen Markenherstellen die man so kennt, ist das der einzige der einfach perfekt sitzt. Es ist schon der zweite dieser Marke (ich hab noch den gleichen in 24 Liter) und der hält jetzt trotz ständigem Einsatz ohne Fehler oder Beschädigung seit 6 Jahren und er musste schon einige Wetterlagen durchstehen.

I researched several packs before I landed on the Osprey. Its wrap design around the waist is designed to take the pressure off your back and shoulders. Lots of handy pockets.
