This works really well for me to connect my Behringer P16 monitor controller. I play shows on a number of different sized stages and this allows me to reach the mixer to connect my in ear monitor rig. It fits easily into my stage bag with the rest of my monitor rig and is long enough on all the stages I've played on. I definitely recommend this for anyone using a P16 monitor controller on stage.

I very rarely post reviews, but this one deserves my time. We purchased this in January of 2022 and my husband uses it every Friday when he works from home... so it has been used approx 174 times (thank you, ChatGPT!). It is a great little extension that he is able to quickly pull out and put away at the end of his workday. It reaches all the way across our house and he hasn't ever complained about computer slowness. Now, it does require some occasional maintenance... I'd say maybe once every 18 months, when he is unwinding the cable it gets bunched up. But I can get it working again in 7 minutes with the help of a screwdriver. There are 2 small screws holding the female port piece in place - remove those. You'll need something to then lift that round disk out - but you'll notice that it doesn't come out very far... that's okay and you honestly don't need it to. Just pull it out as far as you can and inside at the bottom you'll see a metal washer with a screw. Unscrew this (it's a SUPER long screw... huh, never thought I'd type that) and you'll find that the entire thing comes apart in two pieces. You'll probably see where the cable got hung up on itself, but rather than just fix it from there, I always completely unwind it and make sure that the cable gets all of it's twists out. Then I wind it back up around the reel, making sure that there aren't any twists along the way (this can be a pain, but I usually loop it around the reel a couple of times and then rotate the device itself to compensate for the twist that gets put into the line). Once it is all on the reel I put the two halves together. Getting the washer and screw back in is a little trickier; if your screwdriver is magnetic this will be a huge help. If it isn't, I have found that a refrigerator magnet can help. Once that's back in place you just screw the front disk back into place. Okay - I hope that this helps anybody that find their cord stuck.

The cord reel spools and unspools rather smooth. And the little bonus connector is great. I use it when I need to get a data cord across the house and when I'm done being able to spool it up and store neatly is great.

great compact product. we no longer use wifi because of the unknown longterm risks associated with it, so we decided to run ethernet cords around our house. i like to bring a table outside and work when the weather is nice, and the extngo has been a great tool to let me run a cord outside and plug into my laptop. it can be a bit wonky to roll back up, but after two years it has never jammed or become permanently stuck.

Exactly what I was looking for. Runs at 1000mbps, easily reels in and it is small enough to store away in a drawer. Note that the reel is not spring loaded, so you have to manually wind it, but it is super easy to do. Further note that it is male to female (on the reel side) but it also comes with a 1-meter extendable male to male ethernet cable which is perfect for linking to reel to a router.

I’d been looking for a retractable 50’ CAT6 cable for a while, expecting it to be easier to find. Needing an extension from my home office to my downstairs cable modem, I bought this product on impulse, but I’m happy with the results. It’s remarkably compact, easy to extend and reel in, and performs as well as expected. I would happily buy it again.

Acheté pour mes interventions professionnelles, ce câble Ethernet rétractable est vraiment pratique à transporter et à utiliser. Le système d’enroulement est particulièrement appréciable pour le rangement dans la voiture : fini les 15 mètres de câble qui s’emmêlent, font des nœuds ou finissent par s’abîmer. La petite jarretière rétractable d’un mètre fournie avec est également un vrai plus pour raccorder le PC à l'enrouleur. Le câble semble plutôt solide et supporte sans problème une utilisation régulière sur le terrain. Et vu son prix, le rapport qualité/prix est vraiment intéressant. Un accessoire que je trouve très pratique pour les interventions.

Just need a temporary CAT5 cable, this is perfect. Occasionally I need to work from home and have to connect my work phone to the router - this is an ideal solution and is easy to store.

Soluzione perfetta per ottenere l'affidabilità e la velocità di trasferimento che solo il collegamento via cavo può dare. Il cavo è piatto, cosa che permette di farlo passare senza problemi sotto le porte. Viene inoltre data in dotazione una piccola prolunga, utilissima per fare il collegamento iniziale tra il router e la bobina stessa. Il prezzo non è molto economico, ma l'articolo vale assolutamente i soldi spesi.
